I used to, but now probably 80/20. Founds lots of good female MC games out there recently.

I am almost all male MC. what are these recent good female MC games to try?

I think the idea is to project yourself onto the MC, it's the entire reason why games are (in my opinion) better than comics. This doesn't work for me if the game has a female MC. This doesn't make games with a female MC unplayable, they just are just lacking this very important aspect, so they have to be better in other ways.

Yeah I generally avoid games that don't, I mean the whole point of these games is to insert yourself as the mc to some extent usually

Personally if I see a game that says it has a female MC or even 'multiple protagonists', I leave it alone and don't touch it, sticking to 'male protagonist' centred games.

Is this true of the majority, or am I in the minority?

If you're a male, do you just want to play as a female MC in order to see her get fucked or corrupted?

Or maybe you're a female yourself and want the character to reflect your gender?

I play games that I find relatable, so I find it difficult/impossible to feel involved with a game having a female MC. Possibly the single exception is a VN called 2Sides (Dev: BadMustard), which describes a complex relationship seen from both the male and female perspectives.
