"Not fond of seeing one girl taking it from loads of different guys..." This right here is what I agree with. I prefer to create male protagonist games. Which is why I haven't made one with a female protagonist yet.

So true. I actually kind of prefer the F Protag games I have played (The Office Wife, Life of Miriam, Inside Jennifer, etc) but many of the best stories are all M protag.

I mean... I like a game that the author has really put thought into and tried to make a good game. There's a reason I spend my limited time with a game like this rather than on some other websites for faster results... so I'll play anything that looks good and hits my particular tastes.

Though I mainly play M I do play F if I won't get fucked by males. That's the turnoff.
The only exception that come to mind is the first Chloe game, and I'm giving Lily a try atm.

it is well known that fem protagonists are not only strange for the feel of self insertion (since this is a videogame not a movie) but also known as a cheap gimmick to avoid work making other characters since you have only one model doing all the stuff, and mostly being used like a dumpster
with its very rare ocasions a female protagonist game can be good like karryns prison

No, I play games with male or female MC. Male MC are more abundant, but they are some really fine female MC games.
One of my problems with female MC games, if it is a game with fights (like in a RPGM game), is that you often have to lose a battle to get the spicy scene, unnecessary extending the gameplay. This dosnt happen if the MC is male. In that case you get the scene from winning the battle.

I prefer the male MC and will avoid the female MC games. I might check out previews to see if I would be interested, but mostly avoid. The "multiple protagonist" tag does not turn me away from the game if I can just choose to play the male MC.
