Do you enjoy games that have/require a walkthrough?

Only it its ingame walkthrough, I wanna jerk off, not figure out a puzzle with a dick in my hand

All AVN's should have the option. It's often easy to miss what the writer wants you to do to get where you want to go while you are tickling your nether bits.

Generally, yes. Particularly if there are multiple routes - it helps choose which one suits best.
If there are only choices with dialogue (which decide allocation of points) then a VN is no different from reading a book - we're reading (and hopefully enjoying) the storyline.

Dev: I've made a game, it's simple to play!
Players: This sucks! We want a game with meaningful choices that affect the gameplay!
Dev: Makes a game with real choices that affect gameplay
Players: This sucks! It's too hard! We need a walkthrough that tells us which choices to make!

Sometimes, we can't win. :ROFLMAO:

I agree that must be a pickle. Thinking about it, if the game has meaningful choices that affect gameplay then most likely i'll be too interested in it to be probing my unspeakables so wouldn't need a walkthrough. It was more the poorly written but nicely animated games I was referring to.

I'll use a guide if I'm enjoying the game enough to want to see and do everything. But if I feel that I *need* a guide just to roll credits then that's a sign of bad game design imo. So, yes, but not often.

I don't mind use a walkthrough, specially for long RPGs, I never play a second time a RPG so I use a walkthrough to get most of the content.

Depending on how deep the story is, I would use a walkthrough, just so that I can get the best outcome

I dont mind WTs. In avns i usually like a built in WT, just so I can see the story as the author intended it, or chose my path with optimal knowledge. In any other game I usually wing it and will only bother with a WT if I get truly stuck or am doing a completionist rerun.

If the game is complex and story is good, idm.. but imagine a long ass walkthrough for few mins gameplay

In Lewd games, i want my WT if possible, so i can see as much content (or preferred content is some cases) in the least amount of time.
In other kind of games, i usually have a first game blind, and then decide if i just make different choices, look for a WT or not play again

I don't care if it has a walkthrough or not, if there's one thing I hate is when a dev gives you 2 options like for example: flirt or treat with respect, in which either of the two options can be right or wrong in other games, so I don't know which decision to make...
And then after completing half the game I realize that I missed an important route or more content and technically have to replay it.

First playthrough without a walkthrough and if it was a good game I will check it for missed things.

I dont like when theres paths that lock out other paths, or if I need to follow a PDF, but if its something as simple as a mod-file (or better, choice in the menu from the start) to just highlight "correct" choices that unlock the most scenes/add points, I can live with that.

i use walkthroughs and enjoy it. i prefer if theres a written one or something that doesn't immediately spoil the "correct" choice

Personally, I think a walkthrough should always be a built-in option like the walkthrough mods but be an optional setting. Some people may want or need them for a game, while others don't. That said, I know that's not a feasible option. so shout out to all the walkthrough mod makers and mod makers; thanks for your work. pervs and pervettes

Thank You So Much GIF

I actually enjoy the types of games that have dedicated walkthroughs, but I think that has more to do with the fact that if a game has a walkthrough it usually has more content? If the walkthrough is necessary because they want you to memorize every dialogue line in the game (*cough* LiL *cough*) then it's less appealing to me!
