Basically the title. Do you enjoy playing games (both porn or otherwise) that require you to have a dedicated walkthrough to know what to do/where to go? On some level, I don't mind it as often the games that do have one, don't make a walkthrough necessary. It's just the completionist in me wanting to see/do everything. However, there are those games in porn and otherwise, that force you to have a walkthrough just to progress the story in any form.

So long as there is a walkthrough provided or the coding is labeled well enough that URM works is fine for me.

I really dont care how good the story or renders are, or how hot the girls might be. If I am forced to have 20 saves and constantly reload the game to get a "good" route I'm just never going to play it.

In big VN games like stuff that Key makes for sure. Most of AVN games have plot splits like accept LIs or not and bad ends so i mostly dont play them without WT or URM.

Yes. I prefer to know that the choices are not wrong.

If they require it, it's stupid. Shouldn't have to have one to get through. ESPECIALLY if it's one you have to switch between the game and text.

Yes and ....no. It depends on the game. If the plot involves more routes, the WT can help you to find the right choice for a determined path and re-play the game to reach diferent ending. The first time playing a game, I prefer not to use WT, to see where my choices take me. But if I understand that I'm losing a lot of content and the game is very long, I claim a WT!

It depends. Is there a walkthrough because there's a lot of possible paths you can take, and the walkthrough is there to lay out where they go? Then I'm fine with that.

Does it need a walkthrough because there's actually only one "correct" path and it's so counter-intuitively laid out that you'd never work it out for yourself playing normally? Then I'm probably going to drop that game walkthrough or not, because that's just bad design.

Depends, some of the older games especially around the PS1 era had some of the most obscure secrets and content out there, would be near impossible to actually find everything in the game without a walkthrough. Most modern games work fine without one outside of a secret here or there that would be easily fixed with a simple google. Porn games on the other hand I would rather just have a walkthrough built in, I'm personally there mainly for the "plot" not the plot.

I like it when game 'have' walkthroughs, but if they 'require' walkthroughs I take that as a sign that it was designed very poorly by the developer.

Any game that is mostly only reading and has nothing to it related to action, puzzles, etc, I prefer to play with a walkthrough, as I am there to read, and don't want to have to keep repeating something until I discover how to get the next scene/ending, which ends up being most VNs, adult games or text based games, otherwise I play by myself even if sometimes I get stuck somewhere for a while trying to discover where I have to go or what to do

As long as I can roll back I don't usually need a walkthrough because I'll just try all the choices just to see where they lead, but if a game has a lot of choices and only certain paths can open up certain events, I will look for one if I have trouble getting there myself. I do appreciate games with built in walkthroughs and typically will toggle it on if I'm asked about it, but I do find a kind of satisfaction in feeling like I'm blazing my own trail.

That said, some games are just kinda poorly designed to the point where a walkthrough may become necessary just to find how to progress, and I'm not as big of a fan of that...

Another thing - minigames suck the festering cum out of a dead skunk's rotting dick and shouldn't be included in adult games.

Im not sure what you are referring to. You mean games that are hard because that was the intention and a WT is needed in some parts, or games that are not very well made and the gameplay is counter intuitive and/or the clues cryptic?
As an example, any fromsoftware falls in the first category.
And on the 2nd category is any graphic adventure game that you just have to click on everything to try to progress, maybe even the interactions are not highlighted AT ALL until you erase the game and grab a shotgun and "go for a walk"

Sure. As always, "It Depends (tm)."

Old school adventure games usually got me stuck once per game. I see current "sandbox" games jsut miss-labeled Adventure Games (the current yungins missed an entire genre when they tacked "sandbox" onto it. This shit aint Minecraft. Too bad so many missed such a great time in PC gamin history. 80/90s PC gaming was like 80% Adventure games)

I don't think any game "requires" a walkthrough. If you are going for 100% then yes but if you are cruising through to just enjoy then none are required.

I usually go for WTs, unless the game being pretty straightforward...I'm anxious XD
