Do folks like to check out abandoned games?

A lot of games are abandoned, for most it's not a shame, but for a few I regret it:
A Goblins Tale, Haramase Simulator, Research into Corruption ...

Of course, imagine that game being uploaded again, there has already been a case where abandoned games return

I avoid abandoned games. It's like watching a movie without knowing the ending.

alot of people do. nice thing about old abandoned games with lots of content, you can enjoy it knowing theres no end and never will be without the disapointment of stuff we are following today when it inevitably gets abandoned or a really shitty ending. no endings suck, but a weekend of fun play with zero resentment never hurts.

Yeah, definitely. There are a few gems that were unfortunately never finished

I check them sometimes to see what type of game was abandoned and I've seen super good ones recommend checking abandoned games tbh

only a few and its usually disappointing because they end before the really good content comes out

The only abandoned game I've played is Project SAGE. I wouldn't mind checking out some abandoned games, but until I have something to play that I've completed, they'll be put on hold.

I've resigned myself to accepting that 90% of indie projects will never get finished, but there are definitely some unfinished games that I'll go back to over fully finished ones, they're just that good

I still replay Breeding Season from time to time, even if it's abandoned.

Breeding Season, A Goblin's Tale and Superpowered are my goto abandoned games. Though I guess Superpowered got completed in a way.

A lot of good games have been abandoned, of course creators have their reasons and all. Just a shame to not find out how things pan out. I might create my own ending for them. If I can ever learn how any of the tools work.

breeding season was extremely good. I tried cloud meadow but never liked it as much.

Yeah, after a while the bitterness of being abandoned passes and i just want to enjoy it again even if i know it is incomplete... Kinda like Game of thrones lol

Yeah if they have enough content before getting abandoned.

If they're rated highly enough I'll play them and get sad they won't be finished.

If it looks promising and has at least a little content I'll still give it a try yeah.

I usually don't even if the game is good cause it just leaves me wanting for more that will never come.
