Happy Easter everyone! Hope you're having a great feast, or just a calm and relaxing Sunday. Whatever works best for you!
Some of you were perhaps there back then. Three years ago almost to the date, in February 2023, I posted a number of what I called "concept art" pictures to preview upcoming scenes:



Well three years later it is no longer a standalone picture, but we have finally come to this exact point in the story.



Later that year, in june, Shani returned from the zone, that was 0.13. Two updates later we have met Yuna planting her blue fruits to discuss her friend, and knowing what we know about how the world ended, it is the right time in the story where I can finally show the context behind this image.



As you can see (and may or may not like), the vibe, mood, and colors have changed in the finished part of the scene. Still, the essence of the scene has stayed with me during these past 1,000 days. It's not nearly as long as the guy with the spool wire

Thank you so much! I love finishing games completely and not leaving anything unfinished, but with such large games, having to replay them is daunting. I have many games saved, so this saves me a lot of time and space.

They will try to extend development as much as possible, can see it going for 5-10 years more easily. You do not give up on a goose that produces golden eggs.

I think that is one of the issues of the subscriber-based support, it punishes creators that finish their work.
Many creators are obviously still trying to add meaningful content, but *some* still reap in thousands of dollars per month while their game hasn't seen a real update in years

Yeah there are many of those that do nothing and just collect "rent".

I have also seen devs that bait with "a great idea" but in reality they never intend to work on it.

Buying a game on steam is much more fair as you pay for complete product.
