It's permanent, as can be seen in the shop:

You must be registered to see attachments

And in the Inventory screen:

You must be registered to see attachments

Also if a user fucks around, admins can take it away again as a punishment. But, you'd know if that's the case, because they talk to you first before something like that happends.

make the accrual time not 24 hours, but 20-23 hours. This will allow you to collect interest once a day, but without shifting further and further in time
