We want to know what you think needs to be fixed or improved on LewdCorner.

What annoys you about the site? What is broken, confusing, outdated, or missing?
This thread is not just for bug reports. You can give feedback about anything, including:

• Site speed, errors, downtime, and broken pages
• Mobile and desktop usability
• The homepage, menus, layout, and navigation
• Search, filters, tags, prefixes, and finding content
• How games, comics, mods, cheats, requests, and updates are organized
• Notifications, profiles, messages, bookmarks, and account features
• Rules, moderation, reports, and staff communication
• clutter, and anything else that gets in the way
• Features you think the site should have

Please check the replies before posting. If someone has already mentioned the same issue, react to their post and reply with any extra details you have. This will make it easier to see which problems affect the most people.

Be honest. You do not need to sugarcoat anything. Just explain the problem and, if possible, suggest how you think it could be fixed.
Personal attacks, arguments, and replies such as "the whole site is bad" are not useful and may be removed with a thread ban.

This thread will stay open for 5 to 7 days after it is posted.
Once it closes, we will go through the replies and sort the feedback based on priority, how many users it affects, and how many people support it.
We cannot promise that every suggestion will be added, but we will read everything and use the feedback to decide what needs attention first.

2: LU. I feel like you broke most of what I liked about it a day or two ago in the latest update you showed me.

In that order. The missing images is a major annoyance for me, to the point where ive stopped even trying to click them, which in turn makes me stop wanting to view game threads here. If I see something interesting, I actually find myself searching for it on the cuck site instead. I hate them, but... their images work. The LU is... kinda annoying. But I dont use it all day. I use it like once a day at max, sometimes once or twice a week. Those issues add more clicking and scrolling, but not something that drives me to another site.

lu will be fixed, give me 5/7 days tho, as for the images ill be trying my best to fix the games but wont touch (games+), i will see if there can be fixe for games+ tho.

You showed me your new update, and I posted what I disliked about it. You broke 2 things that were good for me before.

Goddamn it. Ok, here's the things that make the UI good:

As few drop-down lists and sub-menus as possible
Easily navigable at a glance
Group the options by order of scale of ordering - categories (tiers)
included fetishes
excluded fetishes
Do not conflate tags, liking one does not mean you like an "adjacent" one

But really, the previous UI already did all of this, just leave it like that

Is this one thing or 2? Im kinda confused. Are you saying Jack should make games less grindy, or are you comparing the grind in games to the grind in getting mem+? And if the latter, which is your main issue with the grind? What part are you stuck on? Is it because you cant do it, or you dont know how? If the former... The site/staff have nothing to do with the games, they are just providing you with content someone else makes.

I am 100% fine with that, I just felt that me mass reporting those would be a burden on the mods. I did "mass" report some posts recent when I found a bunch that had AI but no AI tags, or when I found a bunch with mention of animations but no tag, but after about 3-4, I felt I might start pissing off mods. If you say this is fine, I will start reporting them. Is there a limit? 10/hr? 10/day? You want me to report all at once? If I can spend a few minutes helping this, I am all for it. And yes, I do find that G+ games have more issues with this, but I do notice it less since not only are there less of them, but most I don't even click on. But if it helps, Ill click on everything and dig around. I think that if you find a game with missing images, but you cant replace them, delete the thumbnails that make it look like it is not broke as a sign that it needs images. Maybe even leave a "Please provide screenshots if you play this game" to get community support.

Enough time has passed and there have been a lot of comments, so I’m going to read through everything, compile it in Word, and make it easier to analyze. I can already say that there are many things that will become priorities because they’re issues that have been under discussion for some time. However, other things simply aren’t feasible—not because we’re against them, but because we don’t want the site to be shut down.

What has become of the proposals that were on this list?
Is there a status report or any information at all about which proposed changes made it onto this list and which did not?

In my opinion, the distinction between read and unread notifications needs to be significantly improved.

I have a real hard time telling which messages I've already read and which I haven't, and it drives me crazy every time I get one.


And please don't forget what @ErzuzB suggested; that's another issue that affects the website's readability and makes it very difficult to distinguish between different things - something I also have trouble with.

That's why my minor suggestion.
Please make the "bold" option truly bold, the difference between bold and non-bold is minuscule.

This is something I've noticed for quite some time, and because I think it's useful, I'm bringing it up now.



When I click on the number of posts in a member's postbit, I can view his post history because it's a link.



However, this possibility does not exist for the number of his threads.
Although these are displayed, they cannot be viewed because the display does not contain a link.



Furthermore, there is no way to filter the threads out of the search results for the posts when I use the first option, since there is no filter function.

So, as I mentioned earlier, I find this feature useful when I’m searching for specific threads and don’t want to scroll through a user’s entire post history.
Or go to the trouble of figuring out for myself what each search result is - whether it’s a post within a thread (regardless if it’s his own thread) or whether it’s a post or a thread.

BTW:
The screenshots are from my own postbit, and I've created three threads so far (not counting this one) - not just one.
One of them was deleted, but I created it, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible or wanted to delete that one.
So this thread isn't just a suggestion but also as a bug report thread

Please post your suggestions and bug reports in your own threads and not in this one.

So that means it is likely a CSS issue and possibly a theme issue. But ive also seen (never used or dug into, so I dont know the details), but there are light/dark/system css styles, and maybe this is fixed in the light and dark, but not system, or even the opposite, being fixed in light and system, but not dark? I always assumed there were only 2, and system chose light or dark, but this could explain why 2 people both appearing to use a "dark"-ish style are seeing 2 diff things if it is not a theme issue specifically. I dont think Ive ever changed it, except maybe setting it to dark, but that would have been like 4 years ago. I just looked around and found this:

Maybe comparing this to those who CAN and CANNOT see bold would help narrow down the issue. Although not sure that is something for this thread, might do better in the thread where it was discussed more.

Thats not a site issue. That is a game dev issue. Or more accurately, a YOU issue. I am an android user, but I also know how much more effort it is to make a Renpy game into an android version. You have to install the android SDK, configure it, set it up in renpy, build the game out, test it in an emulator (this can be a LOOOOOT of work), then fix stuff, which prob breaks stuff in the main game, so fix that, re-build it, then publish the changes. And you have to do that EVERY time. So feeling that you are due an android version is... a little much. For mac/linux/pc, you literally just check those boxes.
Want Windows? check the box.
Want Linux? Check the box.
Want Mac? Check the box.
Want Android? Here is a link to instructions. Read it, download stuff, install it, read how to use it, configure it, link it to renpy, build (and wait, its a looooong process), then spin up an emulator, test, fix, test, fix, etc etc etc, build, done.

Other 3 OSs? 2s each. Android? At least a few hours unless your game is SUPER basic and everything goes well and you already have the stuff installed.

Either way, this has nothing to do with the site. The site does not make these games. It just provides users (uploaders, visitors, etc) a place to post it so you can find it easier. If you want to complain about missing android versions, contact the devs on their patreon, etc, or via direct message if they posted their own game. The fact that you are asking for it and someone is providing it for you means that user went through a lot of effort to unpack the win/lin version of the game, load it up in the renpy dev kit, and do all those steps above so they could upload it for you.

That theme editor is pretty new, came shortly after the forum software update last nov/dec IIRC.
All I did was to set it to dark too.
