• To play the game from the game project folder, grab the Renpy SDK for your OS.*

*Exception is that the SDK is only available for Linux, Windows and MacOS. I'll probably make
a build for Android users since they don't have an SDK for Android.

• The assets provided are created with Koikatsu Sunshine/Chara Studio.

I honestly don't understand why the dev just doesn't release 2-3 versions. if it's that easy and takes a second... instead he pisses people off, and honestly I don't understand how to make it work so I didn't even try the game so he lost a client.

Unless he's changed what renpy version he uses just download Takei's Journey and copy paste the exe and I can't remember which but either the renpy or the lib folder to the main directory of whichever of his games you want to play. Use the TJ exe to start the game. Haven't tested this one but every one of his games I have played works with the Takei's Journey exe and folder.
If you don't have TJ then get it and make better choices. Legit one of the best loli koikatsu games out there and that's coming from someone who hates Naruto.

Edit: Okay that doesn't work here. Maybe someone better versed in renpy bullshit will come by and help but tbh, if it's like his other games you aren't really missing much

Edit2: Okay do what I said above, move the Takei's Journey exe, .sh file and .py file to this games folder, you might need to change their names to "Calvin and Hobbeschan" without the quotes, and then go to the game folder and remove the text on line 15 of the gui file. Alternatively use this one I'm attaching and move it to your "game" folder. Then copy both the renpy and the lib folders from Takei's Journey to the main directory of this one.
I haven't tested this beyond starting the game and I don't have time to right now but it seems to work so far. Once again if someone who's less stupid at renpy than me could come by and give some advice that'd be best but I'm pretty sure it'll run properly with that at least.

@LordVoldy I like this game a lot. I am a real sucker for games based on the good old cartoons. Why not make ome based on Peanuts?
However, I am not getting anywhere in this latest version. How/when do I trigger the different events?
And where do I put the assets files. I am not so familiar with Renphy.

As for the asset files, are you talking about the project folder to play the game from? The Renpy SDK can play the game without having to modify it. You just need to add it to the directory of the SDK.

Yup, I figured out how to use the project folder. But then there is the assets.zip as well


As for event's. You need to meet the requirements. you can trigger them via "Sleep" when requirements are met. I took a screenshot of the game's code so you can see the stats needed for some of them.
