dev says "the original story is not going in the direction of his game" & since the dev is riding the coattails of the original story creator i'm guessing he's fucked or going to have to learn to use DAZ 3D

not voidsquad, and no one else than me and sojo will EVER have the "recipe" for kitty or any other girl, sojo and me create.
voidsquad simple got the permission to use EXISTING renders.

i just got a pm that people are talking here, so i am here, if anyone want to reach sojo or me, the source were you can reach us is in the game. and was added because of lc to the game.

"Title page" is pretty vague. Are you referring to the Main Menu of the game? That doesn't list any attributions, not even the dev. It's just the Main Menu, what appears to be a screenshot of the game, Game Title, and Version. Of course the Main Menu does have an About selection, which does tell you the author of the game, but again, the first sentence there gives credit to the original author of the story.


The dev doesn't get mentioned until the second line.


I guess the dev could put it in flashing rainbow colors on each page of the game, starting with the splash screen, but it certainly appears that they aren't trying to steal credit. Sojourner is mentioned multiple times in the OP, is mentioned above the dev credit in game, and I'm pretty sure I saw similar credits at the original source, where both Sojourner and Voidsquad hang out. I've yet to see Sojourner speak up against the dev over there. It's pretty obvious you have a beef with Voidsquad (who I don't know from Adam, so he/she could certainly be a little dipshit), I just don't see where it's coming from in this thread or the game. If you have information to show his/her dickheadedness from another internet location, feel free to share it so I can jump on your bandwagon.

I did read that. Mikasa01 doesn't appear to be terribly happy with you talking about sharing Miko here. He/she also doesn't want Voidsquad to create any new images around BoredKitty (and they are nice images, Mikasa01!), but to stick to the renders provided by Sojourner and Mikasa01. I have no clue if Voidsquad has broken that agreement at this point. I have no idea if they are or are not happy with where things stand today with Voidsquad as that didn't seem to be the topic of their post. Maybe I'm misreading the entire situation, but I've yet to see any evidence supporting that.

Sojourner and Mikasa01 don't want their work shared here. I personally support their wishes (not that my support means jack squat) and since Voidsquad isn't the uploader, I'm not sure why you have the beef still. Of course, I'm not running the enforcement around here, so I certainly have no say in what gets shared. I know the site respects the wishes of some devs, but am not familiar enough with the site's internal ruleset to know why dev wishes aren't universally respected.

Are they supplying more images for the game at all? Or is Void kinda getting shafted with creative choice? I enjoyed the original stories and the game makes it better in my opinion, but it would suck if Void was forced into one direction with little choice. all our work is free to find and enjoy on the websites we work together with, without any paywall or anything, all you need is make accounts at that websites we call our homes, links are in the game as this was the compromise between voidsquad and us.

Its actually pretty easy. Voidsquad asked to use Amy (kittys real name) as basis for his game. he got the permission to use the existing renders to make his own story. the original boredkitty story and voidsquads game only share the same characters, that are made by sojo and me. but the story etc is entire different.

sojo and me do this as hobby, we actually make Xero(0) dollars with it. and never will be. we enjoy working on storys together, building characters and sharing them with our fans. this is for us absolutly hobby, we dont even have a buy us a coffe thing. we only ask our fans to be respectful to our girls we spend 100s of hours to create, not only look but also backstory, narrativ, personality. our girls are like daughters to us. that much time we spent in our favorite hobby that is also the base of our relationship. and at least respect our wishes regarding copy right and were to share.

therefor voidsquad game is exhausting for us. big part of our motivation to do what we do and thats for free is the feedback of the fans we have. and to be honest. i am just writing here my 4te comment. you can look in this thread how the reactions were regarding my comments. its absolutly discouraging to get a "fuck you" as reply and reaction only for me saying what is true.

so yes. this game and the reactions regarding to it are discouraging for us to support voidsquads effort.

so we do what we did befor voidsquad did ask us, we tell storys, if he can use anything for his game, he got permission. furthermore not our cup of coffee.
for reacreate Amy(kitty) he could use daz3d, but we use costume morphs that are made by me and not shared. SwarmUI would be a possibility to throw in a few 100 renders and make a LoRA, but voidsquads pc is not powerful enough to make that and can only use NovelAI....which does not support LoRA`s. also we use morphs and backgrounds made by me in the storys since a incident that will prevent swarmui from making the LoRA consistent.

and sry for the grammar fails in my msg, i am not native english....
but yeah thats the entire story. so lets see how many more middle fingers i will get for this msg....

I realize now that my message seems insulting. That's not the way i intended it. I love the work you and Sojo do and actually read the stories when i can (on A.T.F though I'm not sure if that's where you both want it). I just meant to say that Voidsquad might get burnt out only having premade, semi-unrelated images to work with. Once again though, I understand your and Sojo's decision in not making game art specifically.

I'm on here for the discussion mostly because there's a lot of people here. Ill move if that's what you want, and that seems so lol

None of the 3 main people involved with this game in a major way charge a penny or ask for money for the content they make. They're just annoyed no one even asked to put the game up here. Its actually a pretty fair thing to be bugged about, even for a free game, and art.

Where in the posts did they say anything about expecting this game to be removed? All Mikasa said was she did not like it being here and they are becoming discouraged. But hey so what, keep alienating them. I mean it's not like devs are being forced out of making content like this left and right. I am sure we have a surplus of content creators for these games and with people like you, more will be getting in line just for the chance to make a game for you to play.
