Luckily for you actual basketball is less than 1 % of the story. For a game where the guy is accepted to a college thanks to his basketball skills, you would expect to see much more of it


1 playthrough up to and including episode 11 (which alone took me about 4-5 hours for 1 route) will probably take at least 25 hours, especially if you play with minigames on. There are however many MANY deviations based on what choices that seem not that important. If you want to see everything possible (including getting ready for episode 12), I think you can easily be playing it for about 120 hours. I'm 144 hours in for season 1 and 2 (I must mention though that I restarted the game once when I downloaded season 3 just to see what it was about again), and probably abour 50-60 hours in season 3 and I still haven't gotten every single dialogue.

For real, I probably have a similar number of hours into this game. Also regarding WVM...I strong hate balloon tits...even though Bella in Being a Dik is one of my favorite characters. I'm attracted to angry intense women, go figure!

Yeah, I really loved WVM in the beginning when it still was mostly about story and less about sex. The game was heavily story focussed for about 20 hours of playtime. After that, BD decided he wanted to do rewrites, after that it became one big fuckfest and he hasn't really gone back to story since (except for 1 scene pretty close to where the game is currentlyat). Real shame imo. I also hate balloon tits, luckily Coach Harper's (my favorite girl) tits are more on the smaller side.

My hate towards balloon tits is also one of the reasons why none (except Sage) of the main 5 are in my top 10 BADIK girls. When it comes to size Nicole has about the maximum I usually like: A good handful while still being firm.

Ah we agree balloon tits are not good. Even though I feel strongly about this, Bella is in my top 5, along with Lily, Josey, Zoey & Quinn. I just made this list up right now, so I might have bumped someone. Pun intended.

I really can't stand Josy and Zoey. Josy's pretty hot, but imo her character is terrible, while imo Zoey sucks in both personality and looks (although I must admit what the fallout will be in episode 12 if we decide to go for Zoey while also being in a relationship with one/two of the main 5)

Lily and Quinn however are definitely in my top 10, especially after what we see of both of them in episode 11.

Josey to me is such a stunner in the looks department, that she was love at first sight. I may have been blinded by this. Zoey I liked in the prelude and I'm really into tattoos. Lily I did a run just focused on her cause damn she's sweet.

Moment of brilliance followed by moments of slop. Thats all VN but DIK has the highest highs that get followed by awful writing or a complete departure from a fantastic storyline

Very good renders and nice-looking girls. But I can't stand or abide sandbox. The story about a fraternity is kind of boring. There is not much story. Dev is the one who did that awful game acting lessons. I dislike the money aspect of the game, the grinding. The Social media. You can't play it purely a choice based visual novel. The game punishes cheating as well, make a game insufferably hard, make it impossible for people to endure and enjoy. If it was a fuckfest with story and choices, I'd love it. But I can't get that burning to death acting lessons scene out of my head, I still haven't forgiven them for that. I haven't played it in ages so maybe I'm far off the mark. But I remember how annoying it was, the sandbox elements.

Still don't get the DIK or Chick thing. And why that locks certain actions and characters out, quite lame if you ask me. I also dislike the friend of the main character.

Is Dev still anti Harem? Again I'm thinking of Acting Lessons and taking the players choice away.

And there is so much story.. the game makes you laugh, cry, feel so many emotions there really isnt another game like it. It's not a game to purely fap to I think you should give the actual story a try. This is one of the games I actually really like for the story and conviced friends who've never played VNs to try for the story alone.

There are very few adult developers and their games that stand out for it's production values.

Being a DIK is one of the few. The downside is were lucky to see one update a year though.

Oceanlab games are the same but that developer keeps changing and reworking his games though.

It was the first avn i ever played, and i enjoyed it. After all the other avns i ever played, i do find myself comparing them to being a dik, and many come up short. As of right now I would have to rate it as my favorite

I've never actually played baDik, I shall have to correct that.
I do like Photo Hunt, there's enough variety to avoid too much repetitiveness and it does avoid repeat scenes to a point, there are some, but they do evolve/expand to more different encounters.
Bright Past was pretty good, although it does become a bit of a grind.

I'm hoping Origin Story gain more support as I'd like to see where that will go.
In any case, I will add baDik to my next to play list.

I actually agree with the OP on this one. BaDIK just ticks so many boxes for me. I love the uni setting and the graphics are unmatched as far as I'm concerned. Playing on the PC and you can see the pores on the characters skin??? The attention to detail is off the charts.

Can the story be better? Yes. Does it drag on in some places? Yes. But I actually enjoy the free roam scenes, and it actually feels like a game.

And the Lewd scenes are dope. Feels like I earned every one.

Well, pores on the skin aren't an indicator of great graphics. Even Dreams of Desire (2017) had very high-quality skin textures. For example, the textures of clothing, the environment, the sometimes angular models, the lack of shadows - all this is not at the highest level. I'm not saying the game has bad graphics, I'm simply stating the fact that they aren't the best. But that doesn't make the game any worse
