Anyone else actually a fan of the grinding games?

Nope! Hate the grind.
I do like a build-up and progression NO slow burn and grind.

Oh lord, no not really. I can grind to the maximum, I used to play black desert online and I believe I have 4000 hours on it ( I know, chump numbers) but I don’t enjoy the grind. I much prefer games like ff7 remake, where the story just happens and as you get through the story you become strong enough to keep going.
No one likes the grind dude

I enjoy playing “sandboxes” as I find real gameplay only in them. Another thing is that some developers just don't know how to make them, in their projects the story is lost in extreme amounts of grind. But there are some very well-made projects as well. I'm not interested in VN/KN - they're comics in electronic form. If you're just looking for sex to jerk off to - what's to stop you from downloading a couple dozen terabytes of regular porn videos?

Grinding, no. Progression? Sure. As long as I feel there is an actual flow to the game, I don't mind. But if it becomes repetitive and boring, then I am going to have a problem.

If the grind is too long then no

As long as the rewards are good and not too spread out I am a fan of grinding.

i do, ... actually, its depends, when is XP to become stronger i like , ... when its money to "unlock" things, not very much.

It would be a FUCK no. Any grind at all sucks, and the lots of grinding ones - well, for the dev - your game is bad and you should feel bad

Some light grind is fine, but it can pretty easily go awry. I like the time-management aspect of sandboxes and a bit of a grind can make that seem more meaningful but sometimes I just want the content now and it becomes mind numbing to try to grind the affection stat or whatever. It's a delicate balance.

I dont't like when there is too much grinding... the main problem i think is that most of the games that have some kind of grinding system have too much of it.

a small grind is no problem, but when you have to sit and grind for hours and hours then it throws me off

If I wanted to grind I'd take up mining in Eve Online.

I'm a fan, but it should be dynamic and not too repetitive for too long.

I personally love grinding games, to a point of course, such as Loser (Night City Productions). Wondering if I'm the odd duck out.
WoW dailies ruined the concept of being "rewarded" for repetitious work.

If said 'sandbox' game has little reward for long loops of: go-here go-there go-back go-to-work go-home; I tend to rage-quit.

🐂💨

a little bit of grinding is fine, can even improve the reward feeling, but too many time it gets out of hand

I like grinding games the first time around but then abandon them and wait till they are finished. I liked Night City Productions' previous game but Loser was buggy AF last time I tried to play it.

Grindy porn games are a weird "sometimes" thing for me. Specifically when I want a nice slow build-up, foreplay if you will, before getting to the main event.

Regular games with no sexual content need to have story or interesting mechanics to keep me captivated.
