Kemono might be just about to bite the dust. Both it and coomer seem to be down along with its chan. Only kemono's cr domain specifically seems to work.
Hope I'm wrong. Would be a shame to lose another archiving site so soon after myrient.

Kemono works. However yeah, its the .cr domain and it's in lot of places accessible via VPN.
Except Kemono is once again in a bit of a predicament because Fanbox importer died. It usually takes them months to fix it. IF they even fix it because Fanbox is actively aware of the issue.

You can use Activity Coins (AC), Activity Coins 2.0 (AC 2.0), and Donation Coins (DC) to purchase the Member+ tier in the store; you just need to select the appropriate payment option.

So... What's the difference between Prestige 1 and the others?

Okay, this is a bit complicated to explain because there have been changes, and more changes are coming due to external pressure.

Currently, there are 5 Prestige ranks, and as such, only Prestige 1 and Prestige 5 have anything truly noteworthy to highlight. All 5 Prestige ranks grant access to the gray zone (currently empty except for one thread due to what was mentioned earlier, and Jack is writing a new set of rules regarding that) as well as profile customization options, such as name effects, titles, profile music, etc., and of course the emblem on your profile that shows you have that rank.

The Prestige 2, Prestige 3, and Prestige 4 ranks are remnants of an old system that divided different areas of the forum for members based on their prestige level. Higher prestige levels gave you all the benefits of the lower ones, including Member+, and this is still the case.

Self Hosting might be the best way but it's raises costs and has risks as well.

At one point it did but all perks from past ranks have been disabled pending new ranks and other changes.

The ranks as of right now are ornamental, and just give access to the sub-forums.

Thanks Bear! It sucks because the timer is the biggest QoL issue that I have. I guess if that's my biggest complaint then Jack is doing pretty good!
