from what I've seen Microsoft has not been trying Xbox well. Lots of weird decisions around that has lots of gamers unhappy.

I don't drink very often any more, it's always been a social thing for me. Sadly most of my core group of friends have moved away the past few years. I tried going out solo a few times, felt like I didn't fit in/was being judged for standing around by myself. I need to get back out there and make some new friends

Honestly, not sure how it is in other communities and countries of course, but if you are in a group, that is partying for the fun, and not for getting laid, usually you don't really notice people just standing around, except for when they are in the way. But where I live it really depends on where you go, multiple bars and nightclubs you can literally only go to for getting laid, where they are either small friend groups, all looking for the same, or single people going alone looking for a good time. Not my type of party, but to each their own, there you would probably more be like prey to the others. The ones we go to usually are either mixed, or heavily focuses on the actual experience, there we usually only talk with people we already know, but would not really notice anyone just standing around tbf. But even then, sometimes you just start talking to random folk, so kinda surprised you felt that left out/like you didn't fit in, but I guess it depends on a lot of things.
