Paradox is okay. I have Stellaris pending (I bought it two years ago, but I don’t have the time to learn everything that’s necessary), also citybuilders i have taken a look at manor lords for example and it looks crazy good (but its still green)

Snow never seen it in my life excluding the build up of ice in old freezers and some artificial ice theme places.
Tropical countries on top....

IDK last time I played it was early releases...then I realized my CPU and GPU can't run it long term since I felt it heating up after a hour even when I made it lowest everything and made it small window mode. I prefer CK3 since I enjoy the Roleplay with money and building number stats go up....As for Tropico it was alright but never really got into it except putting people in prison and stuff.
Maybe try Bannerlord with modes, some really cool roleplay kingdom building and economics stuff especially the Banner Kings mod that essentially tries to make it more like Crusader king diplomacy wise. Some adult mods like Captivity also has cool image renders for events...made with Honey Select...

Judging from the early comments on Steam, I think it's wise to wait a little before buying it. There seems to be performance issues (it's UE5, so who knows if that can
be improved), no keyboard remapping option, an overall lack of polish, settings not properly saved, and so on. It could be the usual stuff, but I'm not going to rush.
