I've been thinking of getting into anime, in terms of genre anything but horror (for now). Ive only watched godzilla animes. That is it. I'm not watching one peice idc if its only one season that i think just ended?

i did watch dragon ball z and some dorimon? Derimon? The one with the blue cat talking cat. Only a few episodes of both shows when it was on cartoon network. But i fell of them rather quickly. What do yall recommend. Oh i did watch the deer girl anime though. I liked it.

Any genre is fine as long as it isn't isekai.. My go to for a new anime watcher are silent voice and trigun(the 1998 or the stampede, either are good but I like the old one more) or fist of the north star, if you don't have time just watch the movie(Fist of the North Star: Legend of Kenshiro>Legend of Raoh – Death for Love>Legend of Yuria > Legend of Raoh: Chapter of Fierce Fight>Legend of Toki) total of 5 movie.

If you wanna start off light go with some Ghibli movies( Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Etc.) For series I'd recommend Death Note, the first and second season of Sword Art Online, Zankyou No Terror/Terror in Resonance(I always knew it as zankyou no terror), and Edgerunners.

I liked Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and Ajin Demihuman.
Despite posting NGE memes, I barely can watch it, due to Shinjis cringe.

Thanks for reminding me about Ghibli. Maybe I will binge watch it later. According to my "last modified" data I seems I'm hoarding Studio Ghibli stuff since 2010.

Damn, yeah spirited away was my first and will always be my favourite Ghibli movie.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners was kinda meh with that predictable ending.
