Of course a new member of a staff is going to be pushed to their limits if you open them with defending the worst fucking announcement in your site's history. This isn't reflective of Angelic's capabilities, it's reflective of their... existence of human emotions. Who the fuck stress tests a newbie by putting them on the shit lists of their entire customer base??

so that post was not entirely mine, it was used and edited by site mods, the whole make p1 only usable for interests was not my idea.

Funny enough, we actually do have one. The problem is the automation side, the addon that used to handle moving deleted threads into it automatically doesn’t work anymore and needs an update.

Think of LewdCorner like a pirate ship: it’s full of unique treasures, but the wood’s rotting and the hull’s taking on water. Every day you’re patching one plank, only for three more to start crumbling. Meanwhile, your crewmates are scrambling around, not sure what you’re fixing, and you’re trying not to panic, because if the whole ship goes down, the sharks are waiting. In this case, those planks and boards represent the addons.

In that case, may I recommend from one ex-lead-admin to another that you and the other site staff stop making use of the [delete thread] button and instead move threads manually to the recycle bin until it is fixed? At the very least it will save you from being in a position of being unable to review what happened in two deleted threads and have to depend on hearsay and what you personally witnessed, both of which are fallible as human memory so frequently is

Afaik and from the posts in those threads, they were always a part of staff and they had just be 'on vacation' for awhile and hadn't come back until recently, so they aren't essentially a newbie

Thanks for watching. By limit I mean a cap, not limit who can trade. If you keep the cap low enough, repeated cappped trades will stand out in any audit and help flag the abusers

Maybe some limits like in normal banks 0-50,000 AC 2% 50,000 - 200,000 1% etc so people would still get some good interest but not enormous amounts

For the ones that known me from the other thread, I'll keep it simple because I'm in bed.

The previous change were agreed by the entire staff based on users feedback. The staff member who decided the exact numbers has more than 1 billion in activity coins earned by his site activity alone, so we all were aware of the pros and con. The other solutions were to remove the entire system, remove the coins, create a new coin etc etc etc. I tried to keep the community in mind instead of a harsher necessary decision, but the negative feedback were enough to force other people to step up. So for the more "active " around here I say, I guess I lost my election for putting artists above bankers haha.



And for the guy that told me he was baking his interest earned by donation. I don't remember his username and I can't go to pc to check. I'm sorry but donations don't give activity coins anymore so it would be impossible to bank donation coins. That's why I couldn't link bank interest with donors. Well , I'll let you guys express your feelings. I'm not exactly aware of what would be the next step but I wish you guys can keep calm and just enjoy the place. I've been an user long enough to just have fun around here without even looking at the bank, I hope you csn find the same opportunity

I had a thought when the recent bank changes were being made to either leave the bank available for everyone, but set the interest rate based on levels, like maybe 0% until P1, then 2.5% for P1, 2% for P4, 1.5% for P5 something like that. It gives incentives and it doesn't effect anyone very much. Or if you had to disable the bank for under P1, run a script that moves all their AC from the bank into their regular wallet, or whatever it's called.

Not complaining or seeking anything, just venting my bad timing of claiming interest @ 0.7% moments before it became 2% again.

With that set up, as soon as you hit 50k you start making interest like you only have 25k in the bank.

The entire reasoning interest rates were being talked about being changed in the first place was (allegedly) because of people with Millions/Billions in the bank and in the case of the billionaires, 1% interest doesn't affect them in the slightest

People like to treat the bank like a game, waiting until they hit a point where they make a shop purchase back 'instantly' like in the case of Prestige 4, people liked to wait until they would make that 40k back in a day (after having bought it) before making that purchase so, ie. (X - 40000) x Y% = 40k, is the point at which they would purchase it

There can only be a single interest rate (I linked to a screenshot of the settings page Angelic shared in discord earlier in the thread). Anything else would need custom development (which based on the Latest Updates would happen some time after the second cumming).

I think technically the originally proposed P1 "solution" was a somewhat clever hack where everyone technically had the same interest rate, but only P1 and up would actually be able to access the bank page to take advantage of that interest rate (hence the whole "losing access to coins in the bank" thing).

TL;DR: Bank was going to be restricted to P1 and up after 48 hours (and you would lose coins in the bank if you didn't withdraw or buy P1). Much grumbling. Reverted (and deleted/recreated the announcement thread) but with 0.7% interest (with trading disabled I think). More grumbling. Clusterfuck (thread deleted again). Bank is back for all at 2% interest and not going away soon probably, but trading is still disabled. Light grumbling (You are here).

Yeah, just noticed the prices of everything went up. Not upset, cause honestly I have no control either way and I am not emotionally invested enough to care that much. Does mean that my purchase of P4 & P5 gets bumped an extra 55k coins.

Which by my murder math still means it gets delayed another month at least.
