i love talking to you guys to much to leave the siteYeah not sure what's happening atm. Just gotta be patient and let the mods and admins figure out the next step, I'm sure they are doing some stuff in the background to improve things.
i think at this current time it is stay as is.Will post here and move later as I'm not awake and not on pc. Thread locked.
For the ones that known me from the other thread, I'll keep it simple because I'm in bed.
The previous change were agreed by the entire staff based on users feedback. The staff member who decided the exact numbers has more than 1 billion in activity coins earned by his site activity alone, so we all were aware of the pros and con. The other solutions were to remove the entire system, remove the coins, create a new coin etc etc etc. I tried to keep the community in mind instead of a harsher necessary decision, but the negative feedback were enough to force other people to step up. So for the more "active " around here I say, I guess I lost my election for putting artists above bankers haha.
And for the guy that told me he was baking his interest earned by donation. I don't remember his username and I can't go to pc to check. I'm sorry but donations don't give activity coins anymore so it would be impossible to bank donation coins. That's why I couldn't link bank interest with donors. Well , I'll let you guys express your feelings. I'm not exactly aware of what would be the next step but I wish you guys can keep calm and just enjoy the place. I've been an user long enough to just have fun around here without even looking at the bank, I hope you csn find the same opportunity
technically yes but its temporarily disable while angelic figures it out.doesn't the removal of trading kill every contest?
That may be the compelling reason I was hoping to hear as to why one of the mods was arguing to keep trading enabled at the the cost of the bank changes. Maybe it could still work with mod/admin involvement if they can modify people's balances from the admin side.doesn't the removal of trading kill every contest?
Bah. Those damn blood ravens. I'm a blood angel got the tattoo and everything. Gotta keep drinking blood and being super gay for sanguineusYou must be registered to see media
Im sticking it out, I love the community here, especially the regularsi love talking to you guys to much to leave the site
i honestly have no idea what you are talking about. And my response to that was:
Respectfully, and conversationally, There is nothing to figure out, There is no magic dupe or 'hax', like they tried to mention in the other thread, that the Millionaires and Billionaires used to get money that high, it is Absolutely 10000% caused by compound interest in the bank
Even with a Interest rate as low as 0.1%, Billionaires will still make 1 million coins per day
No offense but from the petty action we witnessed in the now-deleted-again Credits 101 thread I don't trust him to be the one to figure it out. What assurance can you give us that he won't take his frustrations out on any one of us criticizing the changes yet again? Just introduce a limit on trading and assign someone to audit suspicious balances and trades for fraudulent behaviortechnically yes but its temporarily disable while angelic figures it out.
In the (very short lived) credits 101 thread after the site came back up (with the p1 changes reverted and interest set to 0.7%), someone said "just delete the bank then" (paraphrasing) to which angelic said "ok, done" (paraphrasing). No action was taken but people reacted like it was. IDK, that thread was chaos.i honestly have no idea what you are talking about.
Actually the bank WAS disabled immediately following his "okay done", which is why I replied with "hasty, petty actions are not the way"In the (very short lived) credits 101 thread after the site came back up (with the p1 changes reverted and interest set to 0.7%), someone said "just delete the bank then" (paraphrasing) to which angelic said "ok, done" (paraphrasing). everything is backed up, i am testing him to see how well he does with the community and managing it, also trading cant be limited to anyone, their is only 1 setting for the trade and it is to enable or disable it sorry. No offense but from the petty action we witnessed in the now-deleted-again Credits 101 thread I don't trust him to be the one to figure it out. Just please leave the bank balance and interest alone. It's not broken for anyone except those who duped their way to "billions" of credits, and 1% or lower changes to the interest rate will only hurt the poors while the rich laugh
Also, why are important discussions being deleted or hidden from view? Hiding and silencing criticism (like banning that one guy from the first [was it the first?] Credits 101 thread) does not build trust, which is what you NEED to build a stronger community. Please restore the deleted threads in a locked state so everyone can see the discussions of the site changes affecting them

This! Fucking this!Im sticking it out, I love the community here, especially the regulars
i actually did that, just to show that it was reverted back to how it usually is, it was not meant to hide anything or remove coins from anyone, but apparently it did just that. Also, why are important discussions being deleted or hidden from view? yeah i enabled it back right afterActually the bank WAS disabled immediately following his "okay done", which is why I replied with "hasty, petty actions are not the way"
Thanks for watching. By limit I mean a cap, not limit who can trade. If you keep the cap low enough, repeated cappped trades will stand out in any audit and help flag the abuserseverything is backed up, i am testing him to see how well he does with the community and managing it, also trading cant be limited to anyone, their is only 1 setting for the trade and it is to enable or disable it sorry.
