oof... honestly i'm not even surprised about her family. we had the same experience once with my grandaunt's death. her estranged "children" (they cut ties with her after her husband's (their father's) death)) who have not supported her in any way demanded that my dad give them the keys to her villa in a touristy city 2 hrs away, just a day after her cremation. they contributed nothing to the funeral and just sat there in the funeral hall for 3 days pretending to be devastated and shit. she has no will (even though my dad had insisted she write one when she was in the hospital) so we were in a limbo with her belongings (bank accounts and other stuff). but since we hold the keys, we are the "technical" owners of it even tho we have no idea where the papers were kept.Well, the lady's family was going to just drop the cat off at a shelter.
After her owner died, the family has the funeral, took a bunch of valuables from the house, shut the door and left town.
My dad (her neighbor) was fixing up the house and found the cat after a week.
There's no value in regular cats in the US, though.
Shit man, have you ever thought of starting a gang or something?
and yes. my friend group has a running joke abt robbing banks since one of us knows hacking shit and is teaching us a few things but nothing concrete. for now... unless...
