Definitely can't wait for winter to be over, we have a wind chill of 3 degress F here right now, I'd prefer to be somewhere high 60s low 70s all year long

Hopefully your day is going well, everything is decent here so far besides being cold out

3 degrees is basically the same as Hell actually freezing over. it shouldn't exist.

I just realized that I left my avocado plant outside; I don't think it's gonna make it. Other than that, I'm chillin'.

NOOOOOO you gotta save the poor little guy!

This brings to mind a certain XKCD comic:

You must be registered to see attachments

(Of course the problem with this approach is that there are quite a few websites that insist on you having a combination of lower/upper case characters and numbers AND special symbols in your password, ON TOP of having a hidden limit of 20 characters or less. All gigantic flags of NOPE security wise, but depressingly all too common.)

Haha! Should've known XKCD had a thing about that
And, you're right... Many websites have a hidden character limit, including Microsoft (16 length)
Limiting the length of a password is archaic. With current salt+hash methods, the user's password can be virtually unlimited in length. I suspect the main reason to limiting the length of passwords, is to make CPU load predictable. A password of 1MB in size would use many more cycles to process than one of 16 bytes.

I mean most of them are just winging it and started without even a end goal of how the story would go.
At least that is what I think happens to abandoned games. Especially when they let the donos decide the plot and theme...
Just a big red flag to not play it until it is complete or a entire season or arc is done.

Well, uh...

No, not going to abandon my game. No sirree.

I've done everything I can, but it's looking more limp than my grand pappy's peter after returning from his weekly trip to the local truck stop.

Absolutely, Winter is my least favorite season by far, Plus, Snow is over rated, I've dealt with snow enough in my life, the wonder of it has long died

Snow is beautiful when you're little, but when you grow up it becomes an obstacle.

I desperately need that, someone in the group fucked us.

Spoiler: mini uni rant

So we need to program our project a very specific dumb way, that work on that part fell on one person cause each of us had our own shit to do and since it worked in our testing the rest of us assumed he followed the project specifications. When I heard my friends malding over how the prof wanted that part of the program handled I got curious to see how the person in my group did the code. He fucking did not do it the way the specifications wanted.

So here I am twiddling my thumbs, I messaged our appointed group leader about it and he just told me nothing can be done now and hope the prof doesn't check the backend, he usually doesn't apparently, and only the functions.

anyways I need to sleep off the sudden stress and cause its exams tomorrow. goodnight folks.

I hate dealing with the shoveling, driving in it, and dealing with all the idiots that forget how to drive every time winter rolls around

Lol, while funny, I still think I would prefer dealing with no snow, unless it's dealing out some justice to people trying to ruin other peoples fun

Here it almost never snows, so when it does, because no one is prepared for it, it ends up being a "Welp, I guess everything is going to be closed today" kind of day

Why are "Latest threads" at the bottom of the home page now? Any way to fix that?

Coming from a country that never has snow or even experienced it, it seems like i'd be excited for maybe a week or 2 then starting to absolutely hate it lmao

Do your stores also run out of bread milk and eggs just before it snows? Are people living off french toast while snowed in?

On the contrary, but just because it always snows without a warning, so it's more of a: "Oh, the snow finally melted, let's go buy everything we need in case it happens again" and then it doesn't snow in a year
