Haven't seen you make a game yet and as long as I don't see a good one of you come out I would tell you to be less judgmental, you clearly have no idea how hard or easy it is to make that stuff

That is actually a very salient point. I personally tend to cut Devs a lot of slack because they are doing something I do not or can not do. I do have pet peeves but that is more just my personal slant on things. One thing I find very irritating is when there are 10 to 15 pages of text with the same background image. Dev just needs to realize that a) That's not what I am here for and b) You are not a great novelist. I actually feel a little bad when I start using the skip button in such cases.

On the other hand Fyodor Dostoevsky never dipped his toes into image based porn.

Well from last Thursday I had no hot water the boiler was finally packed in, and I had 4 engineers come out on the 4th one had to turn the boiler off due to a fire hazard. Two engineers turned up today to survey the boiler to see what parts needed to be replaced as well as a new boiler. So yeah got no hot water for another week or two one good thing is the babies have been born all healthy and they are due home this week.

and my issue is that I REALLY do not like HS or HS2 , so whilst I know I am missing out on some pretty good games -- I just can not get past the visuals

I don't have that issue xD I really like the HS/HS2 look, honestly, in most cases more then Daz, Daz only wins in rare cases where the Dev is REALLY good with it (and probably other programs on top of it xD) But it's a matter of taste, I am all for the somewhat anime-ish look, koikatsu on the other hand goes "too far" with it for me to enjoy if properly for a AVN

Haha, yeah, for once that, and then I also think it has to be taken as a whole, even if a Dev is only "average" in the render parts, as long as it is "good enough" and there is something else that stands out? Like great writing? Can't play 5 mins of a game and say "this dev doesn't work hard" just because ya don't like the visual quality.
