There are enough games from the past here that I find it highly unlikely you've treid all of them.
I'm working through them myself now, and it's a massive backlog.

Dude, I'm in a process where I'm really marking games to play and I'm constantly following the current new releases. I have a lot of free time and I chase this job. Believe it or not, there are not many games I haven't played. I've even played the same games 2 or 3 times, and certain games I've played more than 5 times starting from the beginning.

and my issue is that I REALLY do not like HS or HS2 , so whilst I know I am missing out on some pretty good games -- I just can not get past the visuals

They seem OK to me. Koikatsu is the one that is way too cartoony - some hand drawn (most to be honest) also look terrible.
