WVM completely went fucked a couple years ago. You could turn that shit off and just have Shauna be a girl. Eventually braindrip became an extreme contrarian - doing the opposite of what everyone wanted. People wanted him to knock the duckface shit off - he did it more. People wanted not so many LIs - he introduced more without even proper names. Not to mention the long term time with no updates and 99 million excuses (I think one was his dick fell off.)

Oh a lot of WVM chatter comin here.
I had no problems with any of the content; the duckface was a little surprising at first but I grew to find it cute later; and I've known girls who look an awful lot like Jamie, who would take photos duckfacing.
But everyone had names, and the story has been very in depth; it's not just a sex slideshow like some games it has an actual plot.
I will say, the auth did in fact make it optional for Shauna to be trans, but the way the story is written definitely tells me there's a canonical plot, and that's what I want to experience. But I don't think there's an issue with giving players options, it widens the potential audience, cuts some of the haters off ahead of time (only a fraction but still) and makes for a more pleasant experience for everyone.

Thank for the suggestion, i don't think i played WVM, i will try it. If you like this kind of game, my favorite is Confusion. Apartment69 is also quite good, Nea is probably the cutest trans character ever in a porn game.

But it's typically a subscription and none of these devs do more than monthly updates that are worth anything, they just think it'll get them more subs from people looking for the latest update.

Personally if I see stuff like that happening on one of these sites and it's a game I'm considering subbing to it'll turn me off the idea completely. I use these sites to give games their first go (or more if they're not worth $$) because most of these games aren't worth paying for imo. If the game is worth paying for then I put out a sub while updates are actively being done, but most games I've done that for have fallen into lack of content or turned to shit.

Regular games, TV, and movies cost too damn much these days too. Haven't purchased a mainstream game in at least a year. Torrents got me my gaming/media fix for free, no subscription or purchases necessary.
