FALSE. That's what P4 was originally created for. It was then removed in July (boo!) then relaxed until idiot lawmakers who can't tell pixels aren't real people started passing draconian (and probably in the US unconstitutional) laws against it.

In the US the way the law has always been, even before the AI evolutions,, is that it's allowed ONLY if a rational human, could tell that it was not a real image of a minor

Well, before that the ONLY way to make it that it looked real was for it to be real. People who know can still tell AI generated from real.

They are made by the same "engine" (Honey Select), that's why they look like each other.
Some devs are amazing at making games less noticeble when using them.

I mean, do you like AI images, or do you like making them? Then P4 is for you.
Else, if it's only games you're interested in, M+ is more than enough.
P2/P3 are mostly profile customizations right now.

Maybe they need to try harder. At least they can change their appearance, change their hair color, change their clothes, change their name and start in a simple way. It's very cheap to copy and put the same character.

I mean, the same could be said about, people using VAM and DAZ to create their games.
There are just a lot of shared resources going around, that's why sometimes a character can look a little like someone else.
But it's all up to the creators story on how to use that character.
