Didn't expect anyone to ask, I had to answer....lol It really was a great job, that true sense of adventure everyday. Commercial diving must have been awesome! I've heard some pretty crazy stories about the trade, always seem like it would have been a good time but never got to do any ocean dives myself. Inner ear issues ended my career but in the end I had a great time and don't regret one moment.Awesome! Yeah, for many years, that is a common name I have known for Commercial Divers. It caught my attention the instant I saw your username!
I wish I could find it again, but back in the 1980's, I read a true story in a Reader Digest about a Commercial Diver and his Wife working in a City Swear. There is a very funny part to the story, and I will have to post the full story at another time, the best I can remember.
Oh, and, FYI, I am a Commercial Diver - Retired...Best Job Ever!
