either tagging me got lost or i saw it but didnt register the new holes because i was busy fucking bg3. but as you said it happens, especially since the freedom of things i could get up to was enough to get me quite interested even if the plot and abominable half dnd half larian rules was stupid. and that game has way too much bg1 references and pandering!

did make me feel like trying to replay nwn2 again. might reinstall nwn1 and my favorite mod the wink and kiss, yes that mod could indeed belong here.

I really enjoyed Divinity 2, I loved the original BG and NWN, I've heard good things about BG3 but I'm waiting for at least a 50% off sale.
I may do the same and reinstall NWN with the expansions, it was so much fun back then.

If you ever get a chance watch the first episode of Go Lion! The original japanese version of Voltron, it's so different in how it's presented. The USA version has so much better music though
It's amazing how many cartoons we loved in the 80's or even 90's were produced for the sole purpose of selling toys

I rewatched any show that only had a dub, in Japanese later. Including the Super Sentai they used for Power Rangers. It blew my mind figuring out why they had to let go of the Green/Dragon Ranger, and have it make sense in the US version.

I'm also guilty of the merchandising, because I had a bunch of Ninja Turtles.

I bought BG3 in Early Access, replayed the first chapter so many damn times. Every time the game updated, I had to restart from scratch. Finally said, fuck it, and wanted to wait until the final release. Then the final release came out and I spent more time making cheats. Then the game would update once a day, and I had the familiarity of starting over every time. Coop was great though, I think I put like 200+ hours into the game at retail and still never beat it.

I don't buy games that are 25% done but full price. Early Access I have no problem paying for a beta for a game that's mostly complete but they are just adding extras in. But only 25-30% of the story and not even all the classes? Pass, I have enough games lined up i can wait a couple of years

I like the first season, but did not care much for a lot of the stuff after that.

Interesting take on that -- I worked in a lab and was surrounded by nerds (including me) - a lot of it I could identify in some of my friends so I ignored what might apply to me and giggled a lot. Kinda like any movie about Vietnam, WW2 and so on - yep all that stuff happened - but NEVER to the same group of 4 or 5 guys

I only ever saw it at $60 no discount for early access so I said no
72d2 came out for PS4 and XB1 a few years ago as early access, and it fully released a month or so ago.
It's a fun game, but like any survival game you get to a point where you can do whatever you want without consequence.
