Anyone planning on getting it? I'll be honest, I'm gonna wait for the Switch 2 or whatever they are calling the next Nintendo system release.

I don't think even the PS5 was needed, the PS4 was still fine as is.
Sony should focus on making games rather than revisioning their systems...

I think I'm done with consoles, I think the steam deck or it's sequels if there are any will be the last things I buy that's not a full pc. There are no real console exclusives anymore except Nintendo now

Now that playstation have finally started releasing their games on PC, I don't think I'll ever buy another console again except for ones by Nintendo. A different console might be worth it as a media center, but as they're all moving away from physical media, I doubt that will ever be the case.

Yeah, computer have a lot more functionalities besides gaming, and sometimes are cheaper than consoles. And you can also change the parts one at a time and even seel the old ones, so it doesn't feel like you're wasting your money after the next generation comes.
Nintendo is the only console manufacturer that makes it so the exclusives worth the aditional system.
I think PS5 has less exclusives on its whole life than the Switch has just this year alone.

I'll be honest, I don't play Rockstar games. I want to, but their controls are so clunky and I just can't stand it.

I do like playing GTA, but I do think the games are overrated.
It's a cool and fun game, but isn't this masterpiece many people say it is.
Also, the ragdoll mechanics in V annoys me. A lot.

Just saying, if you're only on PC you miss those exclusives for however long it's timed exclusive, and being being Digital Only on a console means you get your ownership stripped as soon as the stores go down, then you need to settle for other, less than legal means. Luckily, most PC stores are less of an issue, if it has a likelihood of going offline they tend to just merge and link your account to another.

Like I said above, Sony and Microsoft don't have much worth exclusive, and both of them are releasing more and more games on PC.
Just get a computer and a Switch and you're golden.

Gta 4 or San Andreas were their best things. Storywise, city flavor, etc. Everything since is a remake of an old location. Technically 4 is a newer version of 3, but the way it's done is so original. I love the ending you are forced to choose who to save instead of everyone lives. Controls are wonky, but driving is so relaxing. I've loaded up those games just to drive around honestly

It can be the nostalgia, but I really like Vice City.

Hello all, You guys might know about this. On my way to P4, I have been keeping an eye on the discounts and prices. The discount came back aprox 2 weeks ago but only 20%. what was strange though is that the price still showed at 40K, so I assumed that there was a price increase so that even with the 20% it was still 40K. But now I see that the discount is off, but the price is still 40K?? Whats up with that??

The "discount" was not a discount, it was a bonus for the donations.

Only the owner knows, but he did say the previous one would be the last one in a while, so when it will come back and how much it will be are unknown.

as long as people are willing to pay, they will keep milking numbers... I'm surprised we aren't at sony 12 by now.

We need more games like the arkham series, where the cutscenes are disguised by dialogue to enter a door.

They would sell even more if people had more reasons to buy their video games, like, you know, video games to play.
