I think I'm done with consoles, I think the steam deck or it's sequels if there are any will be the last things I buy that's not a full pc. There are no real console exclusives anymore except Nintendo now

The last console I bought was a PS4, and I only ended up buying Destiny for it. I'm already always going to have a gaming PC.

Yes that's part of it, but we are a bit conditioned that it's the phones fault if it loses our stuff.

If a game system glitches, do you blame it for the hardware or software. Phones always seem to get blamed, and not the accessory memory

I blame everything but myself and that way I'm covered.

I'll be honest, I don't play Rockstar games. I want to, but their controls are so clunky and I just can't stand it.

I can see that, when a game has too many systems in place it can be cumbersome. That's why a lot of people struggle with stuff like Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Just saying, if you're only on PC you miss those exclusives for however long it's timed exclusive, and being being Digital Only on a console means you get your ownership stripped as soon as the stores go down, then you need to settle for other, less than legal means. Luckily, most PC stores are less of an issue, if it has a likelihood of going offline they tend to just merge and link your account to another.

Anyone planning on getting it? I'll be honest, I'm gonna wait for the Switch 2 or whatever they are calling the next Nintendo system release.

50/50 GPU performance is about on par with a 7700 XT supposably, that card is 400, 4060 ti would be the comparable nvidia GPU it's priced at 380 ish so it might still be a decent deal, just hopefully the disk drive you can buy separately.


4060 280 slower, 4060 TI 380 slower, 4070 500 - 550 faster, 4070 SUPER 600 faster, 4070 ti 750 faster, 4070 TI SUPER 800 faster, 4080 SUPER 1K faster.

7600, 250 slower, (7700 XT 400 supposedly what the performance is like), 7800 XT 480 faster, 7900 XT 700 faster , 7900 XTX 900 faster,

Mind you this is USD so will be different depending on where you live.

I swore off rockstar years ago when they focused on confiscating money regardless if it was legit or came from the "good" cheaters that dropped it for the servers instead of making a reliable anti-cheat to keep the "bad" cheaters that did nothing but grief and cost money to the players in the servers. Their customer service was about as useful as a screen door in a submarine and their common sense as rare as unobtanium.

I don't want the extreme heat and humidity of summer. Plus I used to live farther north so the local winters are relatively mild. I'll take the mild weather of fall and spring over the extremes of summer and winter, but fall is better since it doesn't have the explosion of pollen that leaves me feeling like shit for a week.

The one thing WB has managed to keep relatively good over the years has been its DC animations, and I am in complete agreement about Batman the Animated Series being the best superhero show ever.

The movies have gotten slightly worse, but not too bad mostly. War World was painful to watch though. None of the characters were right, and they clearly wrote Batman to be more like Dean Winchester since they got the actor to voice him. Jensen Ackles with a bat belt buckle is not Batman. If the bat is going to be their cash cow they could at least treat him right.

I don't think even the PS5 was needed, the PS4 was still fine as is.
Sony should focus on making games rather than revisioning their systems...

Now that playstation have finally started releasing their games on PC, I don't think I'll ever buy another console again except for ones by Nintendo. A different console might be worth it as a media center, but as they're all moving away from physical media, I doubt that will ever be the case.

Yeah, computer have a lot more functionalities besides gaming, and sometimes are cheaper than consoles. And you can also change the parts one at a time and even seel the old ones, so it doesn't feel like you're wasting your money after the next generation comes.
Nintendo is the only console manufacturer that makes it so the exclusives worth the aditional system.
I think PS5 has less exclusives on its whole life than the Switch has just this year alone.

I do like playing GTA, but I do think the games are overrated.
It's a cool and fun game, but isn't this masterpiece many people say it is.
Also, the ragdoll mechanics in V annoys me. A lot.

Like I said above, Sony and Microsoft don't have much worth exclusive, and both of them are releasing more and more games on PC.
Just get a computer and a Switch and you're golden.
