I'm not even old, and I hate that shit. It's lazy.

The advantage of the kiosks is that you don't have to communicate your order to another person, you just punch it in yourself, so there's no miscommunication. Plus if there are sauce options it shows all of them instead of having to read the tiny font on the menu.

I hate the flashy menus because like you said they keep chanign the menu to begin with and now I can't even see what they have, it's especially bad when they have these at the drive thru.

Yeah, I hate it too. And some times there isn't even all options there to begin with. I've gone to fast food that only had the prices of the combos on the monitors, not the burger alone.

Really I haven't had the experience with any kiosk yet but that would be totally frustrating

Most of them are fine, but some makes me want to kick it.
One day I wanted to try a apple pie, and the kiosk wasn't letting me select it (with no message whatsoever). I asked the lady and she said it was out of stock. Why the fucking thing didn't tell me?
And then some days later I went there and it just froze when I was ordering. I gave up and went to a table wait for my wife. From far away I saw two different people try to use the frozen kiosk, until the lady came and rebooted it. Hahaha
And one thing that I absolutely hate is that the McDonald's here only have this fucking kiosks now. Even with these problems I can order alright, but there are people that are literally technologically illiterate and can't use them at all. And also undecided people, that goes to them and starts thinking in what to order.
Once, there were two kiosks, and on the time a old woman took for her order in one of them, the other kiosk had like 5 different people order their food. I wanted to curse at her.

I hadn't played it yet but heard really good things about it and it 10,000% looked like a parody of Lessons in Love so I was looking forward to it. That's crazy that he kept working on it after being arrested. Gotta respect the dedication?

I would say that maybe he would continue after leaving prison, but I don't if he will leave, nor if he will survive there.

thats what I've been kind of afraid of haha, I'm trying to be better about not just saying hi/bye, I'm just super shy, but I'm working on it lol


in an attempt to be better about having something else to say, if you kind people don't mind, who here is more of a day person or a night person?

I also have difficulty going beyond saying hello/bye, but I felt that there is an effort from the community here that allows for greater interaction.

So true! At my local Taco Bell many changes have taken place over the past 25+ years I have been going there. including eliminating items from the menu that I love (don't get me started naming them)
1. But they also no longer have a normal menu on the wall cuz it is a digital one that keeps changing as you look at it! UGG
2. They want (almost insist) you use the kiosk to place your order ( since I'm an old timer there they tolerate letting me place the order in person)

The menu screen changing every few seconds is annoying though.

I'm a true Lurker, so I enjoy the kiosk and not having to talk to anyone!

I usually like these automated things, like self checkout, but take McDonald's for exemple:
All the self order kiosks I have ever used were shit! The touch screen is uncalibrated, the machine is slow as hell, some buttons don't work, everything is separated in categories that doesn't make any sense... So yeah, in some cases it's awful.

Apparently the fucker continued working on the game normally after being arrested, before the trial.
The last update was in august, a month later the cops came to him.

My problem is in my area these same people that have kiosks and automated stuff to do their jobs not long ago were demanding whining crying threatening to strike if they didn't get 20 plus bucks an hour to work at these fast food restaurants. For what if you have all these things doing your job for you, you don't need to be paid that damn much

I get the same feeling at grocery store self-checkout. When I used to live in a city there was always a line and half the people would spend 2-3 times as long per item than the other half. It wasn't always old people either.

In the supermarket I usually go there are self checkout and regular ones, so the self checkout usually is not crowded, and the ones that don't know how to uses it go for the others.
And the old women I was complaining about wasn't that old, but she was also with children, and each child didn't know what they wanted.

Bud I have never heard of anyone running into as many issues like that with the kiosks that's just some real shit luck right there. Plus a dash of "they don't pay me enough to care" from the employees there.

This hits a nerve, I'm patient enough that I still wait at the counter until someone comes over, still get them to make a chicken gordita supreme even though its not on the menu anymore.

Haha that's very true I definitely don't have enough for everyone, lucky for me most people I know are not super picky about that kinda of thing.


I don't think I've ever had an Arnold Palmer but you've convinced me to try it out. I'll have to see if they have lemon vodka next time I go shopping. The boozier the drink the better to me!

For me, the most awaited is Light of My Life, it always has very robust updates, but it's so hard to wait...
