Wow, my first head gif! What an honor! Hahaha
I do like drama and gossiping, but not start any as to not suffer the mod's wrath. 🤣

That does make it easier to understand thanks! ah ok yeah anything to lessen the work on my computer, it's like a decade old if not older at this point haha.
I feel you, when I tried generating some it was 20 minutes each low res image. 😭

here, I made one (I'll be real, I tried another one super cool, but I gave up :( )

yeah... that's a big problem, the new users already receive the link to the coins uni when they create their accounts, so hopefully they end up here, but the old users that don't know about the coin system get pretty lost, so they start posting in all game threads, which is insanely slow if you compare with this thread.
Actually since april this thread has become a utopia, if you hang out here you have infinite coins, but if you refuse, you starve and all ranks seems impossible to buy without money
Yeah. If I ever notice some rando has started a new thread that shows at least some effort, I try to pop in and point people this way.
Uploaders have full access to games, so I don't need to buy, thank god

are you telling me that you never forgot to collect your daily interest? never got anxious because you need to sleep but your interest resets in one hour? that's a big downside for me, honestly. I rather forget about the existence of the coin system
I try to collect most days, as my interest way outsizes my yapping coinage now, but it's no big deal if I miss a day. I think I'm pretty close to affording P5 anyway.

How it works in the US? You have some X days every Y days to call in sick?

Just checking in briefly this morning before I have to run...

I leave you to ponder this profound musing:

Any man, in the right situation, is capable of murder.
But not any man is capable of being a good camper.
So, murder and camping are not as similar as you might think.

Yeah I've seen a couple different threads around, just need to have time to play with the different I don't even know what they're called haha generators? (Stable diffusion, perchance, citirix [however you spell that one that flaming uses for gobbos] e.g) and get a feel for which one vibes with me best
Yep, varying degrees of investment and effort. Easy to get started with some.

Depends on your employer. Some places have separate discretionary time off and sick time off, some only have discretionary that employees use for both, some have unlimited time off. Also a lot of people in the US are own their own business or work as contractors where they would set their own schedule.

You call in sick, and your boss mentally penalizes you for not being a "team player" and working yourself to death.

gonna sound like a cop out answer but that would vary from job to job each company has their own policy, then theres government positions

eta HTYYHRK beat me to it and explained it way better!

I've heard a lot of stories of bosses like this, thankfully I've never had one.

Depends on the company. Some will allow so many call offs in x amount of time, some will give you x amount of paid days off a year, and whether you use them for vacation or sick time is your business. Some will let you call off as much as you want, but you don't get sick pay. There are several ways it can work.

Shit at the end of each month if I called in sick I'm sure I'd either get a guilt trip or they'd beg me to come in. I threatened a few months back about calling in sick the last day because they were starting to get to pushy and annoying me with all the stuff they throw at me at the end of the month. Since then every time i seem annoyed the bosses always come up to me and ask if I'm ok or if I need any help. There is a backup shipper but he's not nearly as good or as quick as me.

Here we have federal laws that dictate how these things are handled.
Here all workers have the right to miss work if it's justified (like a sick note/medical certificate) and the employer can't punish you for doing so.
At least on theory, because some bosses will make up some excuse to fire you if you use it much, even if you have some serious sickness. Hahaha
So I get kinda confused by how it is on the States.

When my last job let me go all they told me was your no longer needed. Wouldn't even give me a legit reason. Plus they had all the big head honchos there like I was going to flip out. All i did was laugh and told them good luck. I still talk to a few people there and they aren't running anywhere near as well as it was when I was there.

This sounds way better honestly wished the states had something like that

Possible to sue the employer if they do that? Unless they laid down the proper paper trail beforehand I guess

Hopping in my Tardis with my "companions" to go back to where I left off in the thread

not in the USA, but pretty much like that yes, work convention give you X amount of sick day per year, if you take more then 2 in a row you need a medical paper.

Now time for the

That's shitty. Here if the company fire someone without a justified reason, they have to pay them up to 6 months salary while the fired person search for another job.
If it's justified, like he messed up big, then well, their loss. Hahaha

It's like this as to no let the employer take advantage of the employee.
It's also the worker right by law 30 day paid vacation every year, 13th monthly salary as a bonus, and others, but nowadays many people wants for it to end saying that "the government shouldn't meddle with private businesses!" 🙄
Sure, the government take a "piece" of your salary, but I think almost every country must have this, and in our case the pros far outweight the cons in my opinion.

Yes. Like I answered above, they can't fire people without a reason, so if they want to do it, they have to pay the fees or come up with a reason.
If the reason is bullshit, you can open a labor lawsuit to get them to pay the fees that you should have since they fired you for no reason. It can takes lots of time, but it's an option.
Also, you can quit if the employer is doing something he shouldn't have (like overworking you, paying late and such), and while quiting you don't have any right to those fees, you can also open a lawsuit to get them, if you manage to prove that the employer was on the wrong.
But since most companies are shitty, it can hinder your job applications, since they'll see on your history that you had legal disputes in the past, and may not want to hire you.

(I don't think fees are the right term, but I don't know what is. It's an monetary aid)
