Store bought ice cream cakes are just bad cake with bad ice cream, just buy both separately and eat them together. I've never looked into something good quality though.

I had always thought that ice cream cake was just a layered firmer ice cream in the shape of a cake. Didn't know it was actual cake. Hahaba

In the US at least it's either a cake base with ice cream on top like the first picture, or a layer cake with ice cream layers in the middle like the second.

I've just never had one where both the ice cream and cake were high quality, which might be more of a personal problem than an indictment of the idea. I've never seen any decent restaurants or bakeries offer it, only at grocery stores and ice cream chains.

Also I'm testing some new contact lenses and my eyes are so goddamn dry right now.

The closest I got was just like I said: a firmer chocolate ice cream that got layers of a thick chocolate sauce and some chocolate and nuts as toppings, I think.

Yeah so they are made of different types usually marble, soapstone, granite or stainless steel, I'm not too sure about the imperfections on it I just grabbed the first image from google, but the ones I have are completely smooth so I just rinse them in the sink after I use them. Your biodegradable idea reminds me of the people who freeze grapes and put them in wine, I know not the same but it made me think of it
