Well, that's what I figured. Slang changes in different areas of the US.
What we call 'Speed" is all the amphetamines (meth included) and even some uppers that are not amphetamines.
Slang even changes generation to generation. If you say you want some 'Dope' to my age group, you're talking about heroin. If you say it to my dad, he thinks you're talking about weed.

Everyone in the room, which usually is the entire village of 300 people (jk) will look amazed and fascinated at how Americans do things. t had its day as a decent community, but it has too many asshole Mods now. We're pretty lucky here on that count so far. Things here are getting much better from the DL and modification availability for the "general" VNs - it wasn't always that way.

I don't know if it's just the mods- some of those members can be pretty cringe too.

Yep. The school system here is strict. In my school they will check girl underpanties to make sure they are white. I mean, fuck sake. This is too far, but that was how it is, just strict, but these days lot of state school are less hard on some rules, but there must always be respect. I remember one girl I used to know got told to leave the school. She was bully and very rude to a couple teachers and her parents was told dont bring her back. Pus, many many Asian families push their kids to study, study, study and if we mess up our parents will give us big punishment so it is just strict a lot

I read somewhere that the classic bloomers and sukumizu is not being used anymore in japanese schools, now there are more gender neutral and "modest" clothes.

Believe me, this isn't a big deal. Only linguists and college level professors would know all these rules and such. Here, since the country is so big and diverse, many regions speaks differently from one another, so it's really hard to follow what's the "right" use of the language.
But we usually say that the objective of the language is to be understood, so, even if not following some grammar rules, that is being achieved, you are using the language correctly!

I will DM you. its not Kimono0 Goth because there is not such thing, but I will show pic what I like wear in DM. I have maybe 200 Kimono and almost same in Obi haha, so I do love to collect, but they are 99% very old and many people dont like the old ones for some reason. Most likely fashion or something.

My wife have used similar clothes to the first picture from some characters she cosplayed as. She don't have as much as you have of kimonos, but she also has a lot of different cosplays that take a lot of space in our house.
When we go there we'll be sure to buy some kimonos/yukatas!

Yeah it's a lot harder to get a good passing as a trans woman than as a trans man. According to studies on the subject, men are kinda considered the default: if you have one male characteristic you're a man, but you need all female characteristic to be considered a woman. That being say, those days, if i use a outfit that emphasize the fact i have boobs it helps a lot, last time i went to town not a single person called me "mister" in the whole day, they all said "madam".

Plus, the later you start, the harder it is to get good passing: i start in my early 30's so hormones don't do as much of a good job as they would have done if i started in my early 20's.

I don't have problem with men as a whole. I have a fair number of friends who are cis men. That being say, there is also plenty of men who are asshole and as men are dominant, their shit put us where we are here today, in a fucking dystopian society.

I've seen people on the internet start the transition after 40's and getting really cute and feminine, but I don't know how the transitioning proccess is. It's always just the same hormone? Or there are different substances that works differently?
But like most things related to the body, it must be heavily based on genetics and metabolism, so no much to do aside from plastic surgery, I guess.
Some people really do win in the lottery of the looks department.

But yeah, once a trans men started saying that my wife were transphobic and didn't like him. Yeah, we both didn't like him, but the fact he was trans hasn't got anything to do with it.

When I worked in IT support there was a guy that did almost no work. Everyone complained about him, but since we were understaffed, he wasn't let go. It was really shitty knowing he was making the same money as me with basically doing fucking nothing.

I would stare at this and think wow! because it looks sexy, and I never seen this in Japan. I seen plenty of short skirts. Tons, but no one will be allowed to cut or change their uniform ever. it is a huge problem if they do.

Yes its more relaxed, and they are allow girls to have different hair styles and such, but there are still lot of strict schools but mostly they are private and so, its changing. Plus bullying now is something the teacher and parents are focus on because it is very bad and students sometime dont feel safe.

There is old saying that say you are not Japanese if you don't at least own Kimono or Yakuta. It is correct in a way because almost all homes have at least one. I buy mine because I obsess with the traditional old designs and sadly many have been lost because people throw away old ones when someone dies, but i just ask the owners please can i take or buy because I want the designs and to keep our old history from being finished. Everyone know me and I get them easy.

It will be nice for you to also maybe buy yourself something Japanese that you can keep to be part your ancestors history. maybe something you can make for shrine to remember or something else.

I think insects and other "simpler" beings, like worms, slugs and such actually don't feel any pain, just react to things by reflex and instincts, like when we put our hand on a hot pan, and remove it immediately, before feeling anything.

Kinda, I guess. The pineaple is usually made on a big skew/grill, and you serve it by cutting pieces of it for yourself, but the cheese is made on a small skew for individual consuption.

My ex took me to a restaurant in Florida where these dudes walked around with these HUGE skewers of meat- all different kinds and flavours, and they would come over to your table a shave off the meat for you. THAT was some good vittles, ngl.

If I could buy a can I would just to try it out but yeah I would go into that expecting it to be terrible. If you are interested in in a Spicy drink though I recommend Sobolo it's a spiced hibiscus drink. My coworker made some the other day and good lord did that burn but it was so tasty.

Hibiscus? The Hawaiian flower? What do they spice it with? I've had Hibiscus tea and apart from being kinda bland, it was okay with milk and sugar.
