As for illegal stuff, my worry with that is what happens when some country passes weird laws? Like banning any video games with violence or banning any games with religious themes? I'm not sure how the law works on this but I'm worried we are moving towards a least common denominator with the internet as a whole, such as the US forces IP laws on countries that don't agree.

I opened up steam today and was surprised to see harem ranch for sell. A loli hentai game on steam? Even with an offsite patch, will steam let it stay? How long before they smite it? Days? Hours?

I play a lot of farming games so steam always shows me new ones. That's the only reason steam showed me this one, I swear.

That's... very close to politics... but let me be clear... I LOVE politics... but site rules say NO... ok... here we go:

Until (if) the pendulum swings back, we're stuck with the laws... at least till we vote in someone with a different view.

Meth is methamphetamine. It's very close to amphets, but way more potent, addictive and harmful on the long run.

One thing I find really curious is that on the internet I usually see only trans women, but in real life I know 5 trans men and no trans women.

Schools are a perfect place to teach kids how to behave and how to live in society, but usually it's just the study subjects like grammar, science, history and that's it...

yes I agree. it statrs in 3 place IMO. 1. in home place with family morals to teach decent living. 2. school, to teach lessons and also how to behave in society. 3., Society itself. All these are important. If one part is not showing the correct way then bad habbits anfd also many other thing can collapse or turn to denigration like in some places in some societies are now. You can notice this in those place with people who just dont care and do what they want because they can and have right to. bla bla

In portuguese we have biform noun, which are nouns that change depending on its gender ("o ator": the actor (male), "a atriz": the actor (female)), two gender common noun, which are nouns that only the article change ("o estudante": the student (male), "a estudante": the student (female)), supercommon noun, which don't change regardless of the gender ("a criança": the child (male), "a criança": the child (female)), and epicene, which usually is animals names, that don't change but you can add "male" or "female" after it to distinguish them ("onça macho": male jaguar, "onça fêmea", female jaguar). So it can get really confuding. Hahah

Seems Portuguese and Spanish have many strange things like this that can be confusing to understand at time and actually, even translation programs are often weird and not correct for very similar reasons ect.. this reasons like you suggested is why or at least in part why I stopped learn other language, because it can be hard to learn the concept of some countries grammar. I think Japanese is much more simple and basic in some ways. Not the writing but the talking and how is written. This is more simple because there are less confusing grammar words that have different meanings depends on how they are spoken or written. For example. In English there is the Nun from church, then "There is none." They sound similar but different and so on. excuse my explanation. I cant write what I try to say very well.

I live in a tourist town, too. People always want to take pictures of me working.
I can't really stop them, because I'm in public, but it is aggravating.
Also, one time I was swarmed by a bus load of Asian tourists while working next to a wild animal.

Sadly I was a badass kid teenager. I dressed in lot of Kimono and very much Japanese Goth style and my fashion obviously was a magnet for tourists, but I was moody and not so nice. If they ask I just say no thanks. Im shy from camera and to be honest, I like to stay away from too mch bla bla tourists. They are fine and ok, but im not so good in people talk usually, but every now and then someone will politely ask and I dont mind. I just explain I dont need picture because I will break the camera with my beautiful looks haha.
Yes, for some reason, Japanese people on vacation do like take those kind of photos lol. I think it is because they like to show family about people and culture of place they visited.

I wish more people in the US were better people. So many assholes just throw their garbage out the car windows or on the sidewalk as they're walking around.
Littering should be a fine and a finger for punishment. You pay a fine of $100 and we break your pinky finger.
Every concurrent littering infraction is double. $200 and both pinkies, 3rd time we start adding ring fingers.

Now this is a very good suggestion. Every time you throw trash you will lost a finger, and in the end your hand. Like in Arabi countries, they cut of the right hand for steeling and so on. Sadly, I feel the terrible punishment's like being in the worst stinky prison and being beaten if you are a violent ashole, sadly this is sometimes the way to teach some people. I don't like violence but it does work. Japan is great but the police legal system is terrible and just not something you want to get into, so, most people just don't want to go there. Plus, it is sad that a lot of westerners have this "I can do as I like" attitude. This spoil it all for the rest who are decent and work hard. Then I feel it is each person who needs show the respect before changes can happen.
