D&D has Adventure League, it's basically a program to find groups for one-time sessions that last only a couple of hours. The modules are created specifically so it doesn't overwhelm new players and experienced gamer can test out builds. I was active in the Pathfinder society, the counterpart of the D&D one. Was a very fun time.Yup. Non-solo D&D involves... those... THINGS... called... PEOPLE.
Besides, if we stretch D&D to RPG, not only can I play Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights, but I can add the non-ESO Elder Scrolls.
And, of course, playing solo means I never once have to hear "L2P Noob." or whatever passes for it today, of course, prompting me to over-react by:
