Marvel Snap is a mobile game somewhat similar to Hearthstone. Various Marvel characters have an energy cost and attack value. Most also have skills, although there are some who don't unless you've got the High Evolutionary in your current deck. Collect the characters, level them up (purely cosmetic) by using them in battles, then use the rewards from leveling up to acquire more characters. It's a fairly good mobile game that doesn't push monetization nearly as hard as most others. I got bored of it after a few weeks due to a lack of variety in game modes, but it does have some good quality design.

Ahh, I see. THIS is why I mostly do crossword puzzles or rebus-type games on my tablet.

It sounds like a nice peaceful evening for you. I dont remember the last time i read manga, but it was long time ago. I used to have a lot of manga and some of the artwork in their creations was really cool. I think one set was called Haruku adventures. It was interesting.

yeah its nice distraction from time to time, some to do. tho i got in to them only few years ago, when when wanted to know more of story of one of them and then have swap on manga.
tho waiting on updates sucks and chapters are getting shorter and shorter and with some scenes or events takes 10/20 or more chapters to move forward so is easy to forget what was about when you are following per 1 ch per week bases for a while.
and yeah as nudity goes you better stick with hentai otherwise at best you get to see is some boobs and have to deal with simp mc in process (that's what ecchi is those days 80%)
some of my recommendation that i have put on side and sort off rate it, best i can do. haven't made any list yet, there is too much and i got no will to do it. tho someday ill have to.

Wow, his collection is a lot better than mine. I got rid/of replaced some of those with the next/newest/shiniest system- like most people, but hung onto the Sega Genesis, NES, and GameCube. It's mostly PS4 and PS5 these days.

I have a box somewhere with the "lap top graveyard" or just older machines that were replaced- I really should get all the crap off of them and give them a proper burial...

IF I went back to a PC/Tower I'd want to build it myself- I know you can get pre-built ones that are monsters, but it's so satisfying to build your own. I'm not too worried about display- I just run and HDMI cable from the laptop to the TV, so it's definitely big enough. Yup, data migration sucks- I just want to "pick everything up" and "put everything back in" a new laptop, but that's not technically possible- there's still bits and bobs that would remain on the old machine...it never fails.

yep, those floppy are also now often in museum or collector homes. They are now hard to find for cheap price and like I said, that Apple pc is one of first ones in early 1980s years. Very old.
yeah he collect those old consoles and games and even now ps4 is get old and out date. to me I feel the game world is too fast and not worth waste my time buy console and games. Just costs too much, so i dont have any. Just pc games that i get on special discounts from steam workshop place.

I too have not gotten to read manga in a while, been bouncing around some light novels lately but then never bothering to read the manga because the novel had so much more detail.

Yeah. I'm just lazy. plus i didn't read manga since I was teenager. I lost interest and moved to other things. I even don't read novels any more, but yes, they do have more detail but I usually never finish them and forget the story.

Thats really nice collection. sounds like you like lot of manga. I used to have lot of loli manga, and yes, it is limited, but actually some was Hentai also and not really hue lot of sex scenes. Mostly a story with couple of loli who will explore each other bodies. That was some year ago and i used to like it because it was cute. These days I don't even think they make loli manga/hentai. It is just considered something no one will make because of the recent changes, so they wend adult only, which is also sometime fun. I am fine with adult and youthful manga/hentai but not the extreme stuff. That is not what I will watch or read. I mean when I used to. I think "somebody" said that you can turn all that crap off, BUT it probably re-initializes after a reboot or update...
I've edited Registry keys to get rid of updates and it works for a while, but if you reboot I think the registry must have a "restore point" or "recovery feature"- because it comes right back each time... That's probably embedded deep within the code. Batstards.

I don't believe he was the first to write high fantasy or to world build. The Worm Ouroboros predated him by a good amount. But I don't thank anyone took it to that extent. And it's still hard to come close. I feel like authors like Terry Brooks, Martin, Jordan all try and have created great things, but Tolkien's still up there. We never had Orcs before him and I feel like that's a D&D staple to be sure.

But even more than that, the stories and songs and poems about older heroes that they sing in the LOTR actual refer back to an actual, mostly coherent history that he created. Also, when he had characters speak in another language, they weren't just made up words or phrases, he actually created real languages for his characters to use. Doesn't mean that we have to enjoy his style if we like fantasy any more than we have to enjoy the Godfather if we like mob movies, but he was really one of the greats for fantasy. Like Heinlein for science fiction.

So, essentially, Tolkien was going to make us nerds- if we had the predisposition?
