For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward.
I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward.

These days I'm receiving less of them, but I now have more than a hundred different numbers in my blocklist...
Sometimes (like 0.01% of the times) it's a call that I want to answer, so I answer them all to be safe...
Unfortunately there are still companies that contact you solely by phone rather than e-mail.
Y'know if you just name the MC "Doverdad"- you eliminate ALL of these problems?
You really have to see the "Amazing World of Gumball" the RPG episode where he names the character "MyButt" is great, BUT there's so many other episodes that are just as good IF not better. (The D&D one, the Star Wars one...)
"The Safety" where they get a way with quite possibly the dirtiest joke in the history of Cartoon Network and I think the censors/S&P must have missed it.
Well, most of them are in some kind of context I would imagine. Like the ass-eating Baka-chan one from last night- THAT one made sense because it actually showed up under your comment.
First of all, the movie is made for an American audience. Halle Bailey is American and was quite popular with younger girls.
Sure, she's black. But, guess what? Her dad, Javier Bardim, is Spanish! Surely, that's a problem, no?
Really? Javier Bardim is her dad? I did NOT know that...
I just didn't want to see it, because I saw the ass-job they did with the CGI on Flounder and Sebastian AND a live-action remake of a beloved animated classic just taints the whole thing for me.
Love Emma Watson- did not see the "Beauty and the Beast" remake for the same reason...
I never use the block feature when my carrier tells me it's potential spam since the number will never get used by the spammers again anyways. I still ignore the call though and let voicemail screen it like you said.
Yeah, but I just tried "flipping" it. It give you the option to "flip", but apparently you can't... What if you do half the gif and save and then use your edited one then reverse the image for the frames that don't have it?
No, I mean: I put the first image on the gif
Do the motion track until I want to use another image
Click hide to hide the 1st image
Click +Image to add another image (or the same image and then flip the 2nd)
Do the motion track for 2nd image
Rinse and repeat.
It's a pain, but not my processing power.
I actually have made a gif & saved it, then took it to ezgif and cropped the watermark off before.
It's possible! I was a little pervert as a child and got into many a mischiefs anyway.
There are many instances that could have caused the removal of the sexy catalogs. My brother had a few problems as well.
It didn't matter too much, my buddy and I found a stack of Penthouse, Hustlers and Cherry porn magz in a secret hiding spot by the time I was 11 anyway.
It's getting to the point that I might stop my streaming subscriptions and go back to TV. It's getting ridiculous with the exclusive content now that all the channels have made their own streaming service, and taken their shows off of the original services.
But also, yeah the LOTR movies are just good stuff, and totally worth the like 20 hour commitment to see.
You're very lucky. There are single days that I get 10+ spam calls.
Here in Brazil we do have a no call list, but companies don't care about it and the authorities don't do shit.
You just have to suck it up.
Mine come in waves. I'll get nothing for a week or so, and then like 5 calls and texts a day each for 2-3 days... like who answers calls from unknown numbers these days? That's just a waste of everyone's time.
I have to call customers for my service related job, 60% ignore my 1st call, but will answer after a text or voicemail.
I have a lot of old people customers though. They almost always answer.
Same here about unrecognized numbers but I haven't received one of those in over a month. It's completely ridiculous that people are inundated with political phone calls and text messages, to me that's equivalent to harassment. Then people wonder why voter apathy is on the rise again (not the main thing but a contributing factor).
I switched providers on the 31st of July and have 42 spam numbers. So, only average 3 per day.
That doesn't include when the number sends more than one, though.
It's ridiculous. Even worse is that they get the number from my voter registration.
These days I'm receiving less of them, but I now have more than a hundred different numbers in my blocklist...

Yeah, I see a lot of calls that never made it through. The service provider blocks some things, but not enough

And yeah, I wish old timers were slightly less willing to answer literally any phone call. Feel like it would improve the quality of life for all of us.
Disclaimer = I'm an evil, old, psychopathic fuck. So, modern day cancel culture buzzword shaming doesn't mean a FLYING FUCK to me.
That said, even I got the point. A lot of stories were told when there was a predominance of old, cis, het, white males as characters, with young, cis, het, white, females at supporting characters. Now, they're just changing demographics for financial reasons. It's always the $. No more. No less.
If the mighty God (DOLLAR) said 1950s dance numbers with an all white cast brought in the dough... that's what we'd be getting.
Either way, though, fuck both sides for telling me what to think, say or do... and using 1984 as a how-to-book.
Until they make a series of movies and TV shows about MY chosen demographic: MURDERHOBOS as PROTAGONISTS in a POSITIVE LIGHT... I couldn't care less either way.
BONUS POINTS if you know about murderhobos without looking it up.
I agree with you on that is has always been about the money, and that there has been a lot of racism, sexism and/or discrimination against certain groups in the film industry, however what I don't really like is that they try to change something that has already been made to fit certain criteria or agenda.
I mean if they want to make a movie about a gay character, try with hercules who played for both teams, if they want a strong independent women try with Milunka Savic (the most condecorated female soldier of all time) and so on.
And I didn't knew what murderhobos was, so no points for me , but something interesting could be made out of it.
Burn me on the stake if you want... but taken as a single Movie I think "Rogue One" is the best Star Wars movie aside from "The Empire strikes back"...
Burn me on the stake if you want... but taken as a single Movie I think "Rogue One" is the best Star Wars movie aside from "The Empire strikes back"...
I actually wouldn't know, I saw the first two movies of the sequel trilogy and lost interest (due to quality not politics) in anything Star Wars related that Disney was putting out.
just finished this one, nice shortish game, from start to end of all ending 6h and half. [Complete] - [VN] - [Ren'Py] - [DAZ] - MWNeus [v1.0] [CLLGames]
game got shit loads of action and 3 stages of optional prego sex. which is rare, but nice. all you need is time manipulation to make it bit easier tho not really necessary
4 stages of game that you can switch around as you like once you unlock, all content replayable
time = 0 (morning), 1 (noon), 2, 3, 4 (night)
milf_time = 0 (morning), 1, 2, 3 (night)
two_bodies_time = 0 (morning), 1, 2, 3 (night)
nym_time = 0(day), 1(night)
anyway
time for my nap, all that is left, see you guys later on. have fun/sleep well when you get to it
My first PC (my family's) was an AST with a 250MB Hard Drive, 16 MB RAM, 4x CD-ROM, 3.5" floppy disk drive,Pentium II processor, with a 14.4 kb/s modem.
It cost about $2,200. $2,500 after the loan was paid off.
My first computer was a 486DX2/66 (MHz processor) with 16M (maybe 8, iirc) of Ram and a 540M HD with a 9.6K modem.
I think mine was 2X CD-Rom- I remember the day burners were released and we lost our shit.
There was no "Plug-and-play" and no "USB". You had serial mice and keyboards. AND modems for the internet.
It took at least three days to DL at titty off of "Rusty and Edie's BBS" (provided some asshole didn't call you and break the connection and flush your DL).
People don't understand constructive criticism anymore.
It's supposed to be, "here's what I think could improve your game on a story/technical aspect" instead of, "this is what I want you to do to fit my preference"
Exactly. I love going into the game threads and people are whining and pitching a fit and basically threatening to boycott a game (that they're getting for FREE) if the dev doesn't make it the EXACT way THEY want...
When did everyone get so entitled? Did I miss that memo?
Pausing on page 182 of the backread for now. Gonna take a breather than I gotta decide on either continuing with that or catching up on todays posts from y'all.
Dude, it's a noble thing and all, but trust me after a bit- it's just too much. I tried to do that with the 7K thread and I got to page 200 before tapping out. I started just picking random numbers and would do 10-15 pages that way. All in all- I think I did about 400-500 pages total back-reading.
A little advice that helped me tremendously. Open 2 tabs, one for the frontline the other where you're backreading.
Stay on the frontline !! When it gets slow or every few minutes go chip away a little of the backread. Otherwise you'll
always be behind. There was a time for about 2-3 weeks where i got home and had 40-70 pages to read to get caught
up. After 6 or so hours i would finally reach the frontline then have to go to sleep. Rinse and repeat. Hope you give this
a try, if you do message me and let me know how it's working for ya - Bonky
I haven't tried this yet- it seems like catching up would be a tad harder, but I'll give it a shot the next time y'all yappy batstards have a "growth spurt".

Fair enough, I still love Star Wars, but I am not blind to the problems it has right now Tbh, I think Ep VII and VIII are okay-ish movies taken on their own (not great or even very good, but fun enough for a watch without getting bored), that mostly fall apart because of how they work against each other, instead of linking together like they should :x Now, if you stopped because of them and didn't watch Rogue One and Ep IX, then I think it balances itself out, because in my opinion Rogue One is a REALLY good movie and Ep IX is not only the worst Star Wars movie ever made, but one of the worst movies ever made period...
Yeah, if we talk about actually "good", then I would agree, Mandalorian (though it has its ups and downs too of course) and Rogue One would be my choices there, though I do have to admit I am not completly up to date, I have not seen all of the shows :3
I don't believe he was the first to write high fantasy or to world build. The Worm Ouroboros predated him by a good amount. But I don't thank anyone took it to that extent. And it's still hard to come close. I feel like authors like Terry Brooks, Martin, Jordan all try and have created great things, but Tolkien's still up there. We never had Orcs before him and I feel like that's a D&D staple to be sure.
But even more than that, the stories and songs and poems about older heroes that they sing in the LOTR actual refer back to an actual, mostly coherent history that he created. Also, when he had characters speak in another language, they weren't just made up words or phrases, he actually created real languages for his characters to use. Doesn't mean that we have to enjoy his style if we like fantasy any more than we have to enjoy the Godfather if we like mob movies, but he was really one of the greats for fantasy. Like Heinlein for science fiction.
I've read somewhere that he create the elven language, and then created this world to go along with it, not the other way around. That's really wild.
He was a expert in linguistics, after all.
It was all about his world-building and language creation, which was truly beyond anything really seen before. Tolkien was a linguist and historian, primarily, and "professional" writers tended to shit on him because he wasn't truly "one of them", but he created worlds and painted scenes with his language. All of the backstories that went into the popular books (first The Hobbit, followed by the Lord of The Rings trilogy) were ultimately compiled into The Silmarillion, and many of the stories in the Silmarillion were expanded upon in larger novels, primarily compiled by Tolkien's son, Christopher. These were inspired by the mythologies and even histories of Celtic, Norse, Germanic and other cultures going back to the Classical period. Anything that preceded it didn't really have the scope or the developed backstories that his writings have.
These, and the compilations edited by Christopher weren't his only works, but they are what he is best known for. Of his many other works, the two you are most likely to have heard about are a publication on Beowulf taken from his lectures and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a 14th century work by an unknown author, but reminiscent of Chaucer, which he co-edited and and published.
Fixed it. Hahaha
I never liked SW that much. I guess I liked Episode III from the prequels and Rogue One, but apart from that, only the LEGO Star Wars games.
hey blood, i dont think thats how dentistry works, as conzi pointed out.... our there were some clues you were pointing with your art...
perhaps you have teeth in your ass? idk man, are you a human being or being human? jk love u bro
Hey first of all I don't care that she is black or who her dad is or their ethnicity (im Hispanic too), I don't care that they changed the race of the mermaid, and I'm not trying to pick a fight with you, in all honesty I just want to have a civilized discussion.
Second, Disney only cares about making money, they don't care about minorities or an specific demographic group, so they selected her because of her popularity like you said but also to earn their insignia of "look at me im supporting (insert minority here)" and when I talk about trying to make you like something, I'm refering to the producers of series or movies who try to push a woke agenda and fail, and then blame the "homophobic or/and racist consumer who does not support them".
But, that's the thing, isn't it? The had a popular black actress play Ariel to appeal to a new audience. She wasn't gay. She still falls in love with a white guy.
It's basically the same story with a black lead actress.
Lastly if I mentioned the author of the original history and its origins was to establish that there is precedent on how the character was originally designed, and that if the want to make a movie with a black actress why the didn't make a live action of the princess and the frog?
For money. The Princess and the Frog is not as popular as the Little Mermaid.
And, if we're being honest, people would have called a live action Princess and the Frog 'woke' as well. Or they would have bitched about not making Rapunzel live action.
But, talking about the original history and origins of the story: The prince marries a different girls and the little mermaid kills herself instead of killing the prince to turn back into a mermaid in the story. So then, all that really mattered about character in the original story is that she was white?
But, they did make a whole new movie with a black mermaid.
It had a Spanish Guy (Javier Bardim) as the King. The prince's adopted mom was the queen of a caribbean nation.
It just happened to have the same story as the animated film...
(I know I'm being pedantic)
That's just stupid. It's a bad and lazy argument.
A large portion of Black Panther is Wakanda and it's African culture.
If you had a Hispanic super-hero living in a South American hidden society, they would have all different aesthetic and cultural motifs.
Same with Asian, or Australian, or Eskimo for that matter.
You really have to see the "Amazing World of Gumball" the RPG episode where he names the character "MyButt" is great, BUT there's so many other episodes that are just as good IF not better. (The D&D one, the Star Wars one...)

I didn't mind Rogue One. I went in blind, only knowing the trailers.
I'm not going to say it was as good as the main Star Wars movies, but I thought it was good.
Like I said, I didn't like the ending, even though I knew it would happen, I still didn't like it. Made the movie seem like a waste of time.
Well, most of them are in some kind of context I would imagine. Like the ass-eating Baka-chan one from last night- THAT one made sense because it actually showed up under your comment.
Well, considering I didn't see it/don't know what it is... You can't even copy it to paste it into another browser window. It won't highlight.
Yep, the prince's mom is a black lady, too. I watched it with a girl friend of mine. (not girlfriend, friend that is a girl)
I didn't see the Beauty & best live action. I didn't really remember caring about the original animated version, either.
And yeah, I wish old timers were slightly less willing to answer literally any phone call. Feel like it would improve the quality of life for all of us.
Yeah, if we talk about actually "good", then I would agree, Mandalorian (though it has its ups and downs too of course) and Rogue One would be my choices there, though I do have to admit I am not completly up to date, I have not seen all of the shows :3
Well, apart from the ones already mentioned we have Ahsoka, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Acolyte, with the first two being mediocre most of the time, but had a couple of good points, and the last one...... it is a bad meme and that is all I'm going to said about it.
Burn me on the stake if you want... but taken as a single Movie I think "Rogue One" is the best Star Wars movie aside from "The Empire strikes back"...
