I have a feeling Doctor Who wont be AS effected as Star Wars since the BBC still technically owns it. Disney just has the rights for distribution outside of the UK.Well, let's not forget "Star Wars" is Disney's too- which explains a whole Hell of a lot. As someone said earlier- it's not for the love of the movies anymore....it's for the love of money. Which is why so many of them are just awful and formulaic. Truly sad.

As far as I've heard, the only changes Disney made to Doctor Who were suggestions after test audiences, changes that fans overall loved. Disney has no actual power over how the show is made. If Disney pulled all funding for the show, it would still go on just with a smaller budget. The same can't be said the properties Disney actually owns.

It isn't the right word, but it was what came to mind in the moment. But I fail to imagine any scenario that him as Dr. Doom would be better than another actor.
