I think so, but looking at game threads they have few replies and this is strange because a lot of us are here to play themIt still costs 10 AC to make a new thread to "prevent spam", right? So noone wants to make a new thread unless they're going to get eight likes on their first post or whatever, to balance out what they lost, versus just posting once in an existing thread,
I agree its good for the community but I gotta talk to people and that's scaryI'm actually very happy that they have such a system and that it requires lots of activity. Helps the community be active as a whole which is great to see.
Good point. That's the reason I don't make new threads, but if it were free, there would be tons more spam. Maybe a system where once you have enough comments or likes on your profile, the price to start a thread is lower. I don't know.It still costs 10 AC to make a new thread to "prevent spam", right? I'm not sure about others but usually I like to start feeling familiar and getting to know people in communities before going to the games sections. Hence why this thread can be great even though it does have most of the activity as you said. But will probably start trying some games and commenting on them later. I imagine there's a level of drop-off in terms of people before they start making their way to the games sections?I think so, but looking at game threads they have few replies and this is strange because a lot of us are here to play them
10 AC is enough to make people go to an existing thread when the alternative is that much. I agree that a slightly cheaper price after some time isn't a bad ideaGood point. I doubt that the price is stopping the spam, you can obtain some AC by commenting other threads, then you can create your own thread which could help you to obtain more AC by interactions about your topic. It's just to avoid bored kids from spamming when mods are offlineGood point. That's the reason I don't make new threads, but if it were free, there would be tons more spam. it keeps people active in all the active threats which is mostly here and the daily threads anyway.Yeah, it leads to some spam, but it does help keep the community more active than it would otherwise be.
"free" thread for everyone can still lead to spam. If 20 people create a new thread in one hour, it can get clogged real fast. I like the idea, but a form of punishment, like losing 10 coins for a spam thread, would make it very viable in my eyes. Complement it with a 1 week treshold for new account to create threads, and you can make it a bit more lively here.Yeah, or you get one "free" thread every 72 hours or something? Every small-seeming change has got to be programmed in I guess.
Early access games are an investment to support the game development, it's more like a crowdfunding and it's necessary for indie games.i played subnautica and enshrouded this time enshrouded is in this final version finally and it has nothing of the start of the early access .. i hate early acess game and so many game go by this early thing for 1 or 2 year sigh...
yeah i know im a little bit salty on ash of creation early access i have waited so long for this one and finally it was a big scamEarly access games are an investment to support the game development, it's more like a crowdfunding and it's necessary for indie games.
Of course some times the original idea can't be achieved and users will get disappointed, but otherwise without the early access such games could never exist.
yeah I know, that's why I avoid the hype around games, to me games exist only when I see a review post release and then I evaluate if I wanna play themyeah i know im a little bit salty on ash of creation early access i have waited so long for this one and finally it was a big scam
If you havent played for a few months, then it might feel a little different, but it does still need fine tuning and polish due to maps looking weird and glitchy while starting a match, and constant shader compiling when you launch the game. You talking about BF6? I played it when it came out, but it felt like they still needed to fine tune a lot of things. And the maps were not really created for open warfare like earlier games, leading to a lot of chokepoints, and not a lot of variation to capture a point. Do you feel it has changed to such a point that you would recommend it?
True, campers are still pretty bad on some maps, especially in the rush and breakthrough modesI feel like a lot of snipers camped on certain maps but the tighter maps are fucking awesome
