Good morning everyone! Does anyone have recommendations for VNs with actually stellar writing? I'd like some interesting story and not just boring porn slop which plagues the genre. If you wanted porn level writing you could just go to pornhub, right? Am I too picky or are games like this rare for a reason? The fucking doesn't matter as much as the situation the fucking happens in, if you fell me..

Just played Fureraba and Making Lovers from SMEE. Damn good VNs, kind of a lighthearted but really nice and funny stories.

It really depends on your tastes so a little more information could be good.

Projekt passion, one summer in loliwood, and tribulations of a mage are some good ones in my opinion (there are others but I can't remember just right now)

I might have been sleeping on Japanese games tbh, should explore the genre, thanks

Good morning everyone! A new day means a new question from Katy Cat
what topic could you talk about for hours given the chance?

There is no topic that doesn't get stale or repetitive when focused on long enough. I prefer for a conversation to flow through multiple topics over the course of the interaction. Once my position is established and I've heard the other person's perspective it is time to shelve that topic until one or both parties have something new to add or explore.

I guess the main point is that so many VNs are just a series of convenient accidents with a bunch of like yes-men characters (the MC is a Mary Sue or whatever). Either that, or even worse, a bunch of shitty grind mechanics that add nothing but wasted time. What I'm looking for is a narrative with specific goals and believable, dimensional characters. I think hentai has a similar problem, where there is ample room for plot and character building, but instead it's always like 2 pages of introduction followed by 30 pages of fucking in different positions.

Will check those out, thanks!

Morning everyone, hope you had a nice weekend

Yeah, here every year they say "this will be the last time!" and then the loop continues

It depends:
favorite as "oh, that's cool"?: Probably more werewolf

favorite as "if you could be one"?: I would say the "need to drink blood to survive" would be too much trouble, so werewolf

favorite as "oh, that's hot"?: Well... Uhhhh.... If for the werewolf is a FULL transformation, then I would have to say vampire
(love the wolf girls, but a realistic looking werewolf would be too much...)

Spoiler: Without a realistic look though...

Morning LizBell. Yeah, every year is the same.
My two cents with the werewolf-vampire conundrum.

Thanks. Now I have to start again.

Do your workmates a favor and don't show up to the job horny. It's your civic duty to crank one out before work. If you're already there then it's time to hit the stalls. Be the solution instead of the problem.

A mod for Warcraft.

Ohhhhh, gotta see if I can find that then!

This is my first time here, is this topic some kind of spam den or does it have any purpose?

Nah, we just talk/engage with each other in here.
If you haven't take a look at the very first post of it, then take a look at the university thread too.
There's some good info there.

Good morning everyone! A new day means a new question from @KaityCat

Spoiler: Kitty Question of the Day

what topic could you talk about for hours given the chance?

My answer: Politics.

No no, I joke, real answer: I doubt I could talk about any specific thing for hours given that I'm a fairly introverted person, but I can go for quite a while on various things. Like, the canon lore for the Pathfinder TTRPG world, I can go into plenty of detail on that.

Good morning to you Hexborn!

Slum answer of the day.
I mean, I like talking lore, about different games I like, WoW and RE are some of my favorites.

Some personal recommendations (i'll save myself the time to describe them, just have a look, they are great but ordered in most recommended to least):
Depraved Awakening
Now & Then
Sisterly Lust
City of Broken Dreamers

Morning!
Hmm... I would say... nothing. Like, there's a lot of things I like to talk about (games/anime/manga,etc), but only if the conversation goes both ways, because when I'm the only one talking, I start thinking "You are talking too much; you are probably boring them; they aren't saying anything but they would like for you to stop talking already..." and the stress starts going through the roof

I feel that

Either games in general, computer/board or pokemon go

If you haven't played Mist, that one was pretty solid, in my opinion.

Now & Then seems like something I'm looking for. Downloading it, but the graphics are a bit unfortunate lol. I've already played the other ones, but thanks for the recommendations!

I had to stop because it got grindy and repetitive unfortunately. I appreciate the unique art style in that one though!

Now and Then is really good. The graphics/sound when the girls cum is really good, too. It's also complete.

Sisterly Lust is a bit outdated.

I'd say Being a Dik has a good story and writing, with multiple paths you can take

Except the free roams are extreme over the top difficult, even with a walkthrough. At the time it got to a party, it was impossible for me.

Sisterly Lust was the goat in like 2016, but yeah sadly dated now
