Are there any rookie mistakes most people make while handling money?

first, addictions, but this is understandable at some extent when they already reached the point that it is hard to quit.
second, useless subscriptions (that netflix and other 20 streaming services you only use once every three months) that you barely remember you have
third and a touchy topic, expensive hobbies, some people don't understand that they don't need to spend a lot of money to be happy and not every hobby is for everyone, sometimes you're sacrificing too much supporting a hobby that is only making you more anxious, because the costs will always be a concern for you.
anything else can be different if you're not in america or what state you live (like food and entertainment)
