It's a bit surprising quotes don't generate some coins, since that's a better indicator that your post facilitated engagement than reactions. I'd imagine it could be hard to implement something so it only generates coins the first time a particular person quotes a particular post without it being a database nightmare.

Being a pessimist, I'm gonna say, it's gonna suck both ways.

1-Why it sucks this way:
When I was asked to do a quote wall, I did it. Numbers wise, though, that's a hit. Instead of going through the posts when backreading, I reply to, say, 5 people. With a quote wall, I get 5 LP for posting. If I'd posted as I went, I'd have made 5 posts i.e. 25 LP.

2-Why it sucks giving LP per quote:
Instead of carefully doing meaningful quotes, now LP gain is incentivized by aberrant posting:

I finally got around to reading the new content rules about pictures, gifs, etc., blah blah blah, and I'm a little shocked this site can still be called lewdcorner given we apparently are only allowed to post animals and cartoons. I found more lewd content on pinterest. I'm now, for the first time beginning to understand why the fuck everyone here is so fixated on heads.
