This is my first ecchi anime, unfortunately the adaptation, both anime and manga, did not surpass the light novel

The story was good. I loved Maria, the tiny succubus. I remember some scenes were almost hentai. I have not read the LN but took a look at the art and the splash pages are amazing.

I did the One Piece grind back during one summer break back when it was in the 750s. Great show but fucking brutal watch had to make the executive decision to cut filler. When I caught up to the weekly grind they spent like 5 eps climbing a rope ladder combined with 5 min intros and a lot of static panning shots it broke me and I gave up weekly grind for all anime. Seasonal batch full seasons only for me now.
Also don't forget the remake is coming out in like 2025 so gotta start all over again.

I just finished Solo Leveling and it was pretty decent. Frieren is a good one too from recent.

I would certainly recommend it, I'm just not sure how lewd your definition of ecchi is. I mean, it's no Angel Blade, as I don't remember there being any penetration shown, but it has plenty of tig ol' bitties bouncing and squishing and flopping about. I enjoyed it quite a bit!

I just watch tons different of anime styles, so it doesn't have to be really ecchi to make me want to watch it.
