I didn't watch it, but that cover makes me want to!

I would certainly recommend it, I'm just not sure how lewd your definition of ecchi is. I mean, it's no Angel Blade, as I don't remember there being any penetration shown, but it has plenty of tig ol' bitties bouncing and squishing and flopping about. I enjoyed it quite a bit!

I just watch tons different of anime styles, so it doesn't have to be really ecchi to make me want to watch it.

there are some that have animation on par with decent anime. the plot issue is kinda the same as irl porn. it's hard to make porn with a good plot when everyone who buys it usually wants straight to the action. you usually have to pick either quick fap material selling to niche audiences that actively look for it or something that has to be made lightcore/ecchi so it will get pass censors. a number of the ecchi series if you read the magna you'd find if they were fully to the source material they'd cross the line into hentai more than ecchi

I think most of the people who watch ecchi anime doesn't fap with it, just enjoy it as a regular anime. Same goes for the manga, the few ones I watched they are just spicy, I don't know who can get a bone from them when porn is just at one click of distance.

That's kind of why I wasn't sure about where Valkyrie Drive sits on the old Ecchi___________Hentai slider scale lol. I mean it has a number of episodes with a fully hashed out story, multiple characters and worldbuilding, and doesn't revolve around just getting from one sex scene to the next, but there is A LOT of nekkid ladies slip-sliding all over one another, and if you don't crack a chub while watching certain parts of it I would be a bit worried for you lol

It's not like the genre itself is inherently bad, Konosuba and Re-Zero are pretty good. But when it really became popular it started to be so...mass produced. So many charismaless protagonists sent into generic Dragon Quest worlds where they happend to be the most OP person ever.

yeah, the more mediocre ones start to blends together. Konosuba season 3 is currently on going so thats nice to see and Mushoku Tensei season 2 part 2 is out as well.

And that is for modern isekai, of course. There are more classic ones like Inu Yasha or even, technically speaking, Digimon.

I haven't seen any of these before but Wind Breaker and Jellyfish can't swim seem awesome based on the synopsis

Seems like these two are everyone's favorite, I definitely want to get into Dungeon Meshi
