discussion Ambient Lighting

Ok, I know this is a little bit of an odd one, but as the sun is shining in, it hit me...!

I'm curious as to the "Ambient Lighting" people prefer.

Personally I'm for a dim environment while viewing my favorite VN's but, I also like it when the sun shines through the window behind me...!

What is everyone else's preference??

You mean in my room? Or ir the render? If it's in my room, I would prefer all dark, but since my keyboard don't have LEDs I need some light source too see where the fuck is each key. Hahaha

I'm NOT a connoss, coiness, cuniss... I'm not a fan of lighting, positioning, backgrounds, etc...

When people talk about how amateurish the light is, the characters look like dolls in front of a fake background thing, etc... me? I couldn't give less of a fuck but I'm glad the others are able to contribute meaningfully to those things.

As long as it's brilliantly lit, I'm in. As soon as I see posed, backgrounds, all that and, because it's an alley, nighttime, lights are off, etc... realistic lighting... that's 1-3 strikes against the game depending on my mood. So... as the OP said "Fun in the Sun!" it is. My old eyes can't cope with "mood" lighting.
