Considering a translator would have used the correct word "taut", I am going to go out on a limb and suggest a proof reader.

My interest in visual novels and games is more than the skipping and fapping, regardless of content, so when the English is bad, the experience is bad. I do like the premise of the story, although it will be tough to slog through each update if the writing doesn't improve.

So having had some time to ponder this one.. wow..

@Goosenards has managed to make an LI that is completely despicable and unlikable and they are non-optional. So as much as I usually love Gooses's works, I'mma have to take a skip on this one but I am sure there will be an audience happy with this one so best of luck!

And go support Goose ya wankers.. creating stuff like this in VAM for us is likely high up there on the traumatic experiences that the dev has ever had in their life.

I meant for what platform, PC Mac or Android? I can only playtest the PC version, but I've not yet had any other reports of black screens, maybe try the codec pack that @elfieeven suggested.

I agree and this isn't the first game I've seen where the LI is the antagonist. But it's the first one I've seen where the LI isn't skippable AND what they're doing is down right evil.

I'll do some looking around to see if I can find what the issue may be. Do other ren'py games work fine for you? (my other game Sparkling Duplicity for example has the cutscenes coded and encoded the same way) Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, I just tested the download from this post and it works for me.

Yeah if you're upset with Nari already I'd definitely recommend not playing the rest of this one.

I'll be getting back to SD around the beginning of the year, so you won't have to wait too long.

Oh and also Hurry up and finish the PGI-257 release, I'm excited to try it out!

I noticed the same, the Scenes are for the most part just Black screens with text basically explaining what's happening rather than showing, and i'm assuming both Scenes are intentional not Animated ? Just in case my System's up to date haven't had any issues with your other Games.

I also noticed that I often clicked once to fade to black and had to click a second time for the next render to appear. I don't know if that's supposed to happen.

So far, though, I like this one and am looking to see how the story progresses further. And I may be looking forward to the hebe's and loli's as well

I have the same problem with black screen instead animations. Other renpy games (including SD) works fine for me

No, that's not supposed to happen. I never saw any black images for either of those scenes when I played. For the other matter, there's a command in Ren'Py called Dissolve() which fades from one image to another. If there is no immediately specified image to dissolve to (or an actual image that's just black, ofc), you'll get a black screen. Once you get to the black screen, a click is required, which is intended sometimes. For example, this is from the code in the game:

    scene black with dissolve
    pause

I'd assume any time you see that behavior it's intentional.
