I made huge progress this weekend, looking back at some marathon effort. Unfortunately, not enough to publish right away. The game is now pretty huge, with over 600 images, about 100 videos and animations and a footprint of over 1 GB all together.

I am very pleased with how the new minigame turned out, including its integration.

Yet i want to make sure that the mexico storyline is complete, including a certain quality level of consistent characters, even if they are some mexican thugs or local girls. Also i wanted to add some continuity, foreshadowing events that will eventually have their climax in the near future after mexico, and preparing these in a coherent manner.
So instead of rushing it, i will take a few more days to wrap this up, even if it means i have to violate another deadline i set myself.

I really want to get this out, but before that i want to do be able to do a final complete playthrough myself. Apart from the story completion, also the music needs some more work.

That feeling when your game is so good that you can't make it through a run without unzipping.

Obviously I'm projecting here but this is why I like to imagine the release keeps getting delayed.

I'm just going to chalk this up the MC not knowing what he's doing, but this is not how you perform CPR. Both hands should be above the sternum one on top of the other with elbows locked. Also he should have moved her to the floor instead of trying to do CPR on top of a soft mattress. It kind of looks like he's squishing a half inflated blow-up doll rather than compressing a rib cage.

Other than that, the update's looking great.

Ey at least you recognized that he attempts to do some CPR. I am pretty proud of that, given the fact that it was the best out of 10 shots... I'll totally admit i had similar thoughts as you, but his clumsy way kind of grew on me.
My video model had no idea what CPR is to start with, the end result is not ideal, but usable to me. You should not take medical advice from a game like that anyway. Please really... don't!

Just for your information: This is what the first attempt on a snake bite with one of the most sophisticated open source image models out there looked like.

The literal "snake bite" is really amusing. Classic AI issue there. Though it really reminds me of the back of a TTRPG book from decades ago. On the CPR image, did you try not calling it CPR, and just describing the action? Sometimes technical words and abbreviations make AI more difficult to work with. Either way, great job so far. I've been eagerly awaiting the next update for a while, and was pleased to see a post when I checked LC tonight. Thanks for your hard work, the game really is incredible.

I love the CPR. It's the perfect blend of the art doing its job while also being a ridiculous AI blunder. I think it could be fun to make an entire game based off those kind of bloopers. Some sort of "reality gone wrong" story, people suddenly have extra arms, morph into the scenery, etc. Just have to find the balance between funny/weird/thematic and uncanny horrorshow

Yeah after i recognized that instead of CPR i could have written "Gongola Bungubobbala" with probably the same effect (none), that was my approach, with the result you see above.

I've also found word choice to really matter. Chest compressions, pushing on her chest, pushing down on her chest, smushing into her chest, etc can all give vastly different results. Every little word can unlock or stick the AI.

You guys probably don't know that this game is about to explode with content. Already finished is the broadcast TV function - where you can switch between a number of broadcast channels. Within the game's story, you can progress to the point where you watch TV with one of the girls, and one time alone just to kill time. You can also start this from the main menu in the Preview version at least.

Apart from the story progress and the other minigame, i would say this is the main feature of the upcoming update.

The TV broadcast will contain both seriously lewd programs aswell as completely hillarious clips as this one. There even is a science channel which you might like, but even there medical or scientific accuracy is not exactly the top prio, but i hope some of the 40 minutes of program make up for it.
