most of it goes unpunished, you either have to be online to watch how their picture is spammed on all recent thread replies, or explore their profiles, plus, not everyone who notices it, reports it
Actually, no—no one goes unnoticed. We can tell when someone is spamming, and we review the messages one by one. Many are fine; they just write a lot, but their posts are completely valid and contribute to the conversation. They follow the rules, so there’s no reason to take action—they’re just very active, which is a very good thing.
But with others, it’s pretty obvious when they’re spamming, and even then they aren’t banned—they just get a warning—because they’re usually people who just made a mistake.
You have to do something really stupid, something truly idiotic, to end up getting banned—like accounts that spam low-effort comments, break obvious community rules, attack a staff member (including uploaders and devs), or any forum member, really.

But I will say that it helps a lot when you report someone who is misbehaving or breaking the rules; it speeds things up considerably and action is taken sooner.

Youre a monster. A Heathen who shall burn for thousands of years in the searing hot yolk of my slain brethren. May god forgive you for I shall not

I know that profile picture is from some porn, and it's bugging me that I can't remember where, but I feel like it was something hardcore.
