For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

And that's probably part of my issue, is I don't really know the real proper ways to do prompts yet. I just do simple "Give me an image in [style] of [what I'm wanting]"

I have no idea if this can go in Daily Theme, so Imma just put it here

What’s your opinion: is a degree required to land a job as a programmer, or can you make it without one? Is it worth to learn programming at all?

These days I don't think it's required. Might be a little harder without one, but there are definitely many resources to learn it for way cheaper then schools. When I have the time and money, I plan on using Boot.dev to learn Python. While still expensive, it's way cheaper then going to college..

Absolutely a degree in programming is essential for this or any kind of high level computing work. Sure, its possible with out one, but then you would need proof you are competent and able to do the job required. A degree is a big thing, and most jobs prefer or require certificates, experience and degrees where applicable.

Thanks, it’s nice to hear that, since I’m also trying to learn programming on my own.

Good morning to you. Or, here it is evening.

I never heard about meteorological day before. Sounds interesting and it would be cool to see meteorites fall from the sky.

(I assume this what meteorology means?

(My translation give a weird explanation lol)

Man I miss those games. My brother and I used to run Smackdown vs Raw 2006 all the time. So janky but so fun.
Did you ever notice that alot of the guys in those games didnt have nipples? When i noticed it made me wonder how they forgot them lol, especially when it wasn't all of them.

Meteorology is weather. Any sort of thing in the sky got called a "meteor" at one time.

O yeah... oops... at least I was partly correct. Kinda.. (not so much)

(I just love my useless translation from Japanese to English. It provide such stupid results at times. lol)

Although, I still prefer glowing meteorites raining down from the universe rather than about the weather ect..

I have no programming skills (my worst grade in college by far was for intro to programming) but I have a family member who worked as a programmer for mid-sized technology service company for like 5 years, and for a couple of smaller companies before that. He was laid off two years ago and has been unable to find anything permanent that will pay him close to what he was making at his prior gig. He is getting by with freelance work and training in a completely unrelated field for when the freelance work eventually dries up.
