How has everyone's day been? Mine has been mostly calm.

Had a couple pieces of ludicrously expensive equipment fail a diagnostic test, so got to spend my day packing them up for shipment.

Putting a hundred grand in a beat up cardboard box held together by 3 flavors of duct tape and a bunch of second hand bubble-wrap is an odd feeling. As is signing off on an 1600$ fedex bill without a second thought so the thing would arrive at 8am instead of 10am.

And now a few hours later I sit at home cooking cup noodle for dinner

I’m not building a community on a platform that keeps moving closer to treating ordinary users like criminals, products, or liabilities the second it becomes convenient for them.

... I have never understood why people continued to use Discord after time and again they showed how hostile they are willing to be to their own user base. Communities wiped out in moments, all downloads, guides, etc. just plain gone.
