as long as you have a good enough internet (and recommended a VPN so you don't get a warning letter from your internet service provider) you can just grab a torrent. Downside is no visual catalog of active/popular shows, and needing to know slightly more specific search terms (normally romaji or full English name, sometimes both)

Wow had no idea Capcom released RE 9. What's it about? Who's the lead? What ya think of it?

With all the crap Capcom has done I just don't love or follow them anymore. This is coming from someone who adores Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, warts n' all. Played the hell out of RE 4 and 5. Appreciates the art the old Capcom made, Okami for example. Finally, loved virtually anything they made. God Hand, Power Stone, Cannon Spike ... could go on forever.

It’s actually pretty good IMO. New protagonist, darker tone, a little bit more horror than action. Not perfect, but I enjoyed it

From what I've seen, it's much more action-oriented, and some parts reminded me of 3D movies.

Curious on your take of both. Can't head to the future unless you look back on the past. On the other hand, a game needs merits to stand on it's own. How does it fare as it's own entity?

A quick resume:
as a single product, it's a mix of 2 excellent games, resident evil 7 + resident evil 6.
they really balanced well the mix between horror and action, when we play as Grace, the game is more of a survival horror, closer to resident evil 7 style ( which isn't bad at all ), but later on when we play as Leon, the campaign goes all the way back to resident evil 6 style, being all baddass and stuff like that.

Now if you compare it directly to the other titles, the very unique style and mix of gameplay take makes it good, also makes it bad ( but you have to be a Resident evil nerd to notice it lol ) it just proves that alot of people in the resident evil fanbase are a bunch of fanboys who clearly don't know what they really want on a game.
Alot of people complained that some titles had too much action and less story ( re 5 and 6 ) but guess how do we play with leon ? It's literally run and gun your way until you kill everything.
